Does not work in cold climates ...very cheap and brittle , breaks off pieces every time you open the door !

It's just the right amount of adhesiveness, not super sticky which sometimes makes it hard to install. I didn't place it level, so I had to pull it off to redo ... twice. And it still adhered well to the door. Looks a bit plasticky and cheap. But for the money, great value and does the job.

I bought this because the door seal at the bottom of our door was starting to let in the cold air. Since it's still wintertime, I decided to buy this product as a stop-gap until I could swap out the door seal when it was warmer. The frost king was super easy to install, but it's essentially a thin piece of plastic I was putting in front of a crack in the door seal to keep in the warm heat. It served its purpose as an additional barrier, but I had to buy another door draft stopper to backup this door sweep. Depending on what you're trying to do, this could be an inexpensive tool to help with your heating costs.

I have a north door that needs replaced and has wide gaps all around, i brought several of these and affixed them around the inside frame of the door, sides, bottom, top and i really believe it helped make a difference in my heating bill this winter, it is a north door.. and they are metal doors and they stayed attached all winter so they didn't fall off, great product.

An economical door sweep that works well at blocking air draft from the bottom, largest gap of a door frame. The non-UV plastic design means it is most suitable for indoor use, which I have on every interior door. Reduce air flow from/to rooms mean less heat loss in the winter--keeps the room warm, not the hallway--and the same reduction in A/C cooling loss in the summer. That directly translates to saving $$$.The sweep to door adhesion lasts about 1 year. A simply DIY to make it last longer is to tack it in place with a Heavy-Duty Staple Gun. The Arrow T50 sold on Amazon is my trusty sidekick and is rated Bang for the Buck on BobVila.com.

Easiest way to stop door drafts, looks neat, can even put them on top edge & up the doorknob side of a door if it's a really bad drafty door. These can be bought in clear or white. White looks perfect on white doors. Clear looks great on any color door. If put on straight, they look very neat & like they belong there. Soft enough rubbery material to be able to neatly & cleanly cut out any little notches or places to fit perfectly arounf a hinge or lock or whatever obstructions might be in line w/ it's application, or if the floor is slightly lower on one end than the other end of the door frame. I've found other uses for these too since they make things look neat & well finished & can be cut to any size pieces. Nice for Really old wooden windows where the lock sits between the upper & lower window & there's a gap along that entire middle that lets air in. Used them on outside edge of the metal storage shed doors to close the little gap where the sliding doors meet that lets spiders crawl inside the shed. Worked fine for that too.

Easily trimmed to fit with scissors. Attached to bottom of 36" wide bedroom door to hold in cold air from a/c. However the adhesive failed after a day on the outside edge. So I recommend using this in conjunction with wood screws. Waiting to install laminate flooring before I reposition this and screw it in. So overall it works, but don't depend on the adhesive alone.

I live in an OLD apartment building. The front door of my aparment (or maybe the floor/ceiling/doorway) isn't level. There is a large gap at the bottom of the door when it is closed, ranging from about 3/4 of an inch to 1/2 of an inch tall. I cut this door sweep to the proper size, stuck it on, and BAM, no more gap!PROS:- Reduces the sound we make in our apartment from entering the hallway, and vice versa.- Will also prevent our air conditioning from exiting into the hallway.- Prevents our cats from running to the door and sticking their paws out as people walk by, since they can't physically do it and we don't hear our neighbors walking by as loudly anymore.- May prevent our neighbors from knowing if we're home, as now you can't see light eminating from the bottom of the door (could be good or bad depending on how you look at it, but I like it!)CONS:- Update: After about 2 weeks, the adhesive does appear to be loosening. Would recommend using a few drops of glue (spaced out a few inches per drop) to keep this on if the adhesive starts to come undone.Highly recommended if you have a gap under your door!
