Real Oak, sanded and finished on the top side. Online color is pretty accurate. Super small nail holes allow you to hide your nails easily with just a little wood putty. Everything I expected it to be. I sanded off the finish and restained in a darker shade for my floors. The measurements are spot on so it fit like a glove. Just wish it cost 20-30% less.

Even though I returned it, this is great product. I only returned it because the builder used an odd measurement for our floor.

This fit really well for a transition from a wood to a tile floor. The wood working is of high quality, as is the wood itself. I scuffed the finish up a bit and was able to stain over the existing stain in order to better match my floor, but it was a nice product, as is.

Perfect color and sized only one cut. we put it right in using our own nails. The ones with it too frail for floor .
