I use these LEM rings every year to put venison into game bags for the freezer. Price was a little high, but since I could not find them in stock in local stores, this was my best option.

These are actually very handy little dealie-bobbers. I'm rebuilding one of our home built rabbit cages, and these are way, way easier than twisting a wire. My cage has a frame made from 6"X6" concrete mesh, with 1"x1/2" wire mesh to keep the buns from escaping to their doom. You just put one of these in the special pliers (they have a groove in the jaws to hold the hog ring) position it where you want it, and squeeze. Easy peasy. Well, theoretically, lol. I think my hog ring pliers from Harbor Freight might suck, because the hog ring slides around probably half the time.These are also what they use on the ends of bulk sausage rolls and salamis, which is kind of ironic if you think about it.

Don't let the picture fool you. This is just for the hog rings... No pliers included.These hog rings worked great. No problem. Crimps nicely and easy. I also used 3/4 hog rings. 3/4" hog rings are easier to use than the 1/2".

Excellent deal for good quality rings. I purchased these for use in closing sausage casing ends and the 1/2/" rings seem perfect for this purpose. Only thing is, I'm not sure why this vendor uses the photo that they do for this product because for all intents and purposes, it appears that the deal includes the pliers which are almost more prominent in the photo than the rings. Some purchasers that haven't read the product description well enough actually have posted negative reviews because they thought the pliers were included. I don't agree with that tactic - complaining about a product because you were lazy is just not cool.

I bought these hog rings, bulk bungee cord and the end hooks to make bungee cords. The pictures accompanying this item are deceptive as the purchase of these do not include the pliers. When this arrived the packaging was damaged and open and I thought that the pliers had fallen out in transit but a re-read of the consumer reviews state that the pliers do not come with this product. Sooooo...It is my bad for not reading the reviews prior to purchase. Other than that, they are working well for my intended purpose.

Used these for some summer sausage we made. I didn't want to spend the extra on the pliers so we just used needle nose pliers. They worked just fine. These were used on 2 1/2 inch casings and were a good fit.
