The adapter has a nice storage bag and works well with my Kona. I plugged it in and put a 1000watt electric hotplate to test. The hotplate quickly heated up and the car display showed an estimated runtime of 15 hours. The car instructions say I can pull 3600 watts from the V2L and the adapter is rated at 15 amps or 1800watts. I haven't tried but I bet I can safely pull more the 15 amps...I am happy with the adapter.

This appears to be nice product that does what it claims to do! I purchased it so I could use my EV as a backup power source in case of a power failure. The Lectron was a fraction of the cost of the dealer's V2L adapter.I did a quick test when it arrived. I pulled it out of the box, plugged it into my Hyudai Ioniq 5, and plugged in a fan just to see if it worked. It did! Just like that! No need to do any sort of adjustment to the car's settings. Super easy!A couple weeks later I needed to trim some branches using an electric pole saw. The trees were hundreds of feet from the nearest outlet. I drove the Ioniq 5 to the trees, plugged in the V2L adapter, plugged in a 50 ft extension cord, and it worked like a charm. In hind sight, I should have checked the battery consumption, but since my actual sawing time was no more than 5-10 minutes, I'm sure it was minimal.To summarize: a reasonably priced, easy to use product that is so simple, I can't imagine it ever failing. Based on my experience, I highly recommend it.

I tested this with my 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 6 and a 1.5 kW resistive load (portable heater). I measured 12.8 amps at 117.5 volts. Excellent sine wave, with minor zero-crossing noise. 3rd harmonic 45 dB down, with other harmonics much lower. This is MUCH better than utility power. The adaptor remained cool to the touch after 10 minutes at 1.5 kW. It's the car that is responsible for the clean power, not the adaptor, but it is good to know that the combination of Ioniq 6 with this adaptor is really great.

Tried as a test and it allowed me to power equipment. Don't know how it will do in a full power outage, but it seems like it will do the job.

People laugh when they see me plugging this silly looking thing into my car, and put an extension cord in the charging port, but this thing was a lifesaver on my camping trip! Works just like any LV2 CCS charger, and stows away nicely. Highly recommended for camping!

I have to give kudos wher deserved. Used this during Milton here in Florida. Kept going for the full 2 days without electricity. The electric car battery used less than 8 % ! Can you believe? All my 2 frigs + freezer + numerous chargers for cell etc. No glitches. Even used coffee maker and small flash oven ( removed one freezer temp about 30 minutes. This was remarkable. So just purchase and it will pay back many times over. Just hope this works again in future for camping and fun sports.

The first unit I bought through Amazon I returned, because I could only get it to work twice. With this unit I could not get it to work at all until I read an article about floating grounds. So I plugged in a power strip into the Lectron V2L adapter before I plugged the adapter into the Ioniq 6, I now have power. Pressed unlock on my key fob to remove adapter. Adapter remained in place. Unplugged power strip from adapter, pressed unlock on the key fob, V2L adapter was easily removed from the car. There are limited instructions that come with this adapter. Better instructions would be helpful. Since my Lectron V2L adapter now works, I have upgraded my star rating from 1 to 4 stars on Lectron's web site. For 5 stars the unit should work out of the box.
