After reading several reviews I decided to purchase this adapter, which works amazingly with my 2024 Mustang Mach-e. I was nervous at first, but it was easy to use. I connected the Tesla charge to my adapter and connected to my vehicle seamlessly. I subscribed to the Tesla monthly membership and pay the same amount as Tesla owners. On my first charge at the Tesla station I saved $21. I strongly recommend this adapter.

Quality construction/feel. Works perfectly. Nice, protective storage foam-filled box.(zippered), too. Since OEM was backordered for months, I picked this up for Chevy Equinox EV. Works as it should.

I drive a 2024 Ford Mach E and on my recent road trip I had the chance to use the Tesla Superchargers. The adapter worked perfectly, connected to the cable then to the mach e. As long as your ford account is setup the charging starts automatically and the Mach e was charging at 180KW. I was stopping to charge around 20% and it was taking about 20 minutes to get over 80%, just a nice walk around Buckee’s and the car was ready to go. The charge cost on the Telsa Superchargers was about $28 each time.

We just bought a Nissan Ariya. To expand our limited choice of EV charging stations in our area, we bought the Tesla adapter. At the charging station, we learned (through the QR code we had to scan) we'd have to get a membership which costs 12.99 per month. This fee "allows" non-Tesla drivers the same charging rate as Tesla drivers. The app says you don't have to have a membership and can just pay the higher rate, but there was no way to proceed with charging without getting the membership! It is not at all cost effective for us to pay a monthly fee for very occasional use. So we gave up. This was highly irritating and disappointing. Fortunately, we can get a total refund for the adapter.

Warning ⚠️ Long Review:My car is a 2023 Nissan Ariya Premiere. Right before the Thanksgiving week Tesla incorrectly posted on their website Nissan was able to use their SuperCharger stations. Which prompted me to quickly purchase this adaptor. The error on Tesla's website lasted only a few hours but I decided to hold on to the product until it would be actually active for my car.Well I'm happy to report Nissan is part of the Tesla charging network now and I tested this adaptor with their network. I charged from 38% to 80% in just over 23 mins, reaching rates that peaked at 118kWh. I'm very pleased with those results and the performance of this adaptor for the price. I highly recommend it.The car can go as high as 130kWh but it is highly dependent on the chargers. This adaptor is rated up to 250kWh. On my Thanksgiving trip I traveled just over 900 miles one way and most of the charging stations rated for 350kW were only pumping out 60 or 70kW on a regular basis. Only one would ever breach the 90 or get close to 100kW along my route. The EVgo near my house has provided full 130kWh rates, so getting 118kWh from the Tesla SuperCharger is nice. Specially that for those 23+ minutes the charger nor the adaptor got hot and provided a smooth experience. The adaptor remained cool to the touch. I did touch the adaptors CCS port to see if the device was getting hot and it felt mildly warm. So it did not spark and worries of overheating. I will though provide some operational instructions as stated by both the adaptor's user manual and Tesla's instructions. These instructions are important to follow to prevent any potential damage associated with the charging process. Please read the adaptor's manual and the Charging stations instructions. My steps are off the top of my head from memory and it's best to check my statement and be sure.1) When parking, please pay attention to the Tesla's relatively short cables. They are specially sized to Tesla vehicles and most CCS vehicles were not considered in the V3 SuperChargers. For my Nissan Ariya I have to really get close or the cable won't reach.2) Once parked, you will need to first plug the Charger to the adaptor. That is, remove the NACS charger from the stall's holster and plug it into the adaptor first. My adaptor brings a rotating ring that locks the latch for the NACS charger. Make sure it is in the unlock position and insert the NACS charger into the adaptor.3) Once the NACS is firmly inserted rotate the locking ring to the locked position to protect the NACS charger from being unplugged during charging. For me the NACS charger feels loose in the adaptor.4) Firmly insert the adaptor with the NACS charger already inserted and locked into your car's CCS charging port. My first two tries the adaptor was a very tight fit and may require a little bit of extra force to get it correctly inserted. The CCS connection felt tight.5) At this point use the Tesla App to locate your charger and select the correct charging stall's ID. For example, 1A or 1B.6) When you have reached the desired SoC percentage or the charge has completed, using the Tesla App end the charging station first. Do not unplug anything while the charging session is still active.7) At this point it is recommended you unplug the NACS charger first before removing the adaptor from the car. To do this remember to rotate the locking ring to the unlocked position and remove the NACS charger. Placing it back in the charging stall's holster again.8) Now you may remove the adaptor from the car's CCS port and store it in a place where it will not collect dust or come in contact with liquids and so on. The adaptor comes with a nice case so use it.These steps are designed to save yourself from any potential damages or injuries so read all instructions provided by the adaptor and those also provided by the charging stations. Make sure my steps are accurate. Don't be the person who "knows better" and suffers a problem that won't have any warranty coverage. That will leave you with the full cost of the repairs. Or worse, medical bill. Remember these are extremely high voltage lines so don't mess around.
