Enamel paint covered the teeth so I was skeptical about cut quality. Fit the Dewalt joist hog and bored me a dryer vent hole. Paint wasn’t an issue. It burned off after heating up. Getting the slug out was a bit challenging but nothing a hammer and punch won’t remove. Perfect tool for the price.

Great hole saw. Clean cut. Durable. The drill can be easily moved in and out to adjust to the surface thickness. Bonus: a drill bit and a hex key.

Needed this to remodel bathroom and cut hole into concete board for shower valve. Calls for 4.5" hole. Took about one-minute to cut the hole...and at less than half the cost of name brand from big box store.

Purchased for one project needing several holes drilled. Was able to successfully drill all the required holes. Noticed a decline in the bit's cutting ability on the second hole. Bit is not the same quality as more expensive options but will certainly get the job done if you're project isn't too big. It's homeowner quality not contractor quality in my opinion. Gets the job done at a very reasonable price.

I needed the 6 3/8 hole saw to install a duct for a range hood through four kitchen cabinets. The Koopi is a heavy duty unit, accent on heavy, and the one I received seems round and well balanced. Learn-by-doing experience: I found that my 20 volt Dewalt drill is adequate for this saw, but I wouldn't want to use anything smaller. The saw is unwieldy to use, especially in the top of a wall cabinet where keeping the saw parallel to the cutting surface is a challenge. Using the drill's clutch to keep the drill from spinning dangerously when the teeth bind in the wood was the only way I could manage it. This way when the saw's position isn't just right the drill clutch engages; when the hole saw is correctly placed the teeth do their job fairly well. It did take some time to cut each 1/2 inch deep hole--and my high end Dewalt drill got very hot--but the saw worked well. I've cut seven plywood holes so far and the saw's teeth don't seem too worn yet. This is a pretty good tool for something I only need for one job.
