For the price, it's not a bad deal, but you are buying a tool with a limited life span. Each time you lock the fence into position, you are grinding away at the wood on the bottom side of the arms. The lock is actually a length of threaded rod, bent at a 90 degree angle. One side runs vertically through a washer and wing nut, which, when turned pulls the horizontal side up until those threads bite into the arm. How many times can you do that before tearing the bottom of the arms into punk? That said, it is a usable tool that will cut grooves. Again, it's not a bad deal, but it's a low quality tool.

Good quality Rosewood and tightly built. I'm satisfied with the price. The iron will need sharpening.
