Doesn't fit my Stanley No. 7 Jointer Plane. The front mounting screw on the tote is nowhere close to alignment if I slide the tote onto the main fastening rod (see image). I kept the front knob.

Numerous quality issues with this. First, the handles are for a No. 5 Plane not a number 4. Second the hole at the top of the rear handle is not angled or positioned correctly to allow the head to sit inside like it should, Third the hole in the front handle for the threaded rod is too small for the rod to go through. I expect that I will be able to modify it to work however, but, i shouldn't have to modify a new product. Pictures below show comparison to No. 4 handle and plane.

Ik had een gok genomen dat dit handvat op mijn Stanley schaaf zou passen, maar dat was niet het geval.Het product zelf is wat je kan verwachten voor de prijs. Het zijn houten handvaten. Afgewerkt conform prijs.Aan Amazon wil ik toch vragen om eens naar vertalingen van producten te kijken. Als ik voor houtschaven moet zoeken naar ‘vliegtuigen’ gaat er iets niet helemaal goed naar wij dachten.

J'ai essayé remplacer la poignée d'une veille Stanley No. 5 avec ce poignée mais les vis ne correspondent pas (ils sont métrique) et la poignée n'est pas compatible non-plus. Je suis sur qu'il marcherait avec un Faithful.

The handles were fine as delivered but did not fit the Bailey Stanley No 4 plane. With an hour or so work with as saw, file and sandpaper I got them fitted and working. I plan to glue a piece to the bottom of the tote to improve the fit but have not gotten around to it as yet.
