I ordered this around mid-February, not thinking how about the weather, and transporting the plants in such cold weather. A couple days later I went to check the status, and the package was delivered to our mailbox the previous day, so I was scared the plants had frozen overnight. Buuuuut I was pleasantly surprised to see how well the plants were insulated. Mine were shipped: wrapped in a moist paper towel that was inside a plastic baggy that was inside two Styrofoam cups taped together inside of two bigger Styrofoam cups taped together inside a bigger plastic baggie wrapped in insulation. and packed tightly into a well taped box. LOL. Needless to say, the plants were room temp when I opened them. My only complaint could be a decent bit of them were browned on arrival. Based on the temp they were when I opened them, I don't think temperature was a factor in that, but I could be wrong. I'm not worried about it though, there were more than enough healthy ones to grow the population. I've had these plants before in a planted tank and even if you only start with 4-5, the tank will be filled in weeks. They're in my tank now, I will give updates in a couple weeks if they've survived or died!

I have bought aquarium plants from a few sellers, this one is the best! My duckweed arrived alive and very healthy! At the same time I bought Azzola from another seller and that arrived dead and mushy! Two cups taped together may look weird on arrival, but you will be happy they did it! I will only order from this seller going forward.

I knew I was taking a risk ordering duckweed during the winter but I needed something to stand up to the chaos of keeping crawfish who mow down anything living in the tank. I watched them destroy my pothos roots in a couple hours and it turned into a rolling buffet at that point.Due to duckweeds aggressive and rather invasive growth rate, it’s been hard to find locally anymore so I finally found this on here and went for it.Anywho, this seller packaged the live little plants well enough and protective enough to travel the winter roads from Virginia to Northern Nevada. I sadly didn’t take photos of the packaging because I wanted to get them out and in the tank. They are happy and green about to battle the crawfish.

Plants were desiccated on arrival. I put them in my aquarium with hopes one may have survived. So far doesn’t look like any has
