Your cart is empty. The Red Root Floater is a beautiful floating plant with light green leaves that can turn blood red when kept under high light. What makes this plant unique and highly sought after are the blood red roots that it has compared to the usual brown roots of other floaters. This small floating fern can quickly grow and spread into thick mats that cover the entire top of the tank and block out light from below. It's perfect for low tech aquariums and paludariums and can act as a good shading plant to prevent algae growth.

Plants arrived a day early and looked very good. Seemed like the packaging was well intentioned, but they used fiberglass insulation as packaging material. I understand that they wanted to keep the rrf from freezing, but i didn't have any gloves and now I'm itching like crazy.

These came in poor condition and were turning brown by the next day.

Plants came quickly and well packaged...I knew being in Colorado/having these sent during winter could pose a challenge/DOA due to the cold and was prepared for this possibility. Luckily, the Seller packaged them very well with dbl styrofoam cups, heat pack, and insulation. Therefore, the plants survived, me and my tank is happier for this sellers efforts. The plants are as described, a good portion have established roots (which is not necessary for this plant to take hold but a good thing), I haven't seen any snails, and the plants are healthy...Obviously, I would recommend this Seller.

They came just in time ! The leaves felt crispy so I got them in the water as fast as I could. Seem to be doing good and the roots on some are red love that. It’s a great add on if you have fish they love the natural feel. I do have some duckweed in the pictures aswell try not to confuse the two

They were mostly healthy, a few dead leaves. Also came with a snail but it didn't survive the trip, though something to be aware of. I have hard water off a spring and there was a little melting the first week but the majority are growing new leaves and adjusting fine. Quite a lot of plants in the package, I'm happy overall.
