They are very easy to breed and if your water parameters are right, they will lay eggs and eventually those eggs will hatch. And if you think that is a bad thing, think again ... more Mystery Snails, more algae that will be consumed from your aquarium. Now, if you have a heavily planted aquarium, i would suggest checking out some of our other snails which won't breed in freshwater and are best suitable for planted tanks. These snails are extremely hardy and live in a vast variety of water parameters. My 3 snails arrived well packaged for the current temps. I followed the acclimation instruction provided and within 1 hour the snails were cruising around the tank. The snails were maybe a little larger than a nickel. The shells showed signs of growth, and had no nics or breakage. I would be confident to order again.

I received three mystery snails, and acclimated them to my established tank per the instructions. None of them moved at all, upon placing in tank, one floated immediately. The next day I found it at the bottom with trap door out. One of the snails has since began exploring, but I’m going to remove the other as it’s been 48 hours with no movement.

I'm really pleased. The snails are absolutely lovely and seem to be adjusting well. The biggest almost immediately started coming out curious within a minute and the other 2 seem to be doing good. 1 is climbing up the side exploring already! I just unpacked them in the last hour.Very fast shipping and seller includes instructions for adjusting snails so new owners will know how to acclimate them.I ordered a 2nd batch of snails and had some DOAs. Seller was amazing and replaced them. Thank you so much! The snails are really beautiful and a really good size. I am really pleased! :)I had mystery snails before and was missing them. They are pretty comical and do get to know their owner if handled (as in not hide all them time). Their shells are in great shape and the color is a really nice blue. Very exciting!We have been having a warm spell in GA, so temps were mid 60-low 70s perfect time for shipping aquatic pets for my area.

I'm a big fan of AquaticMotiv. I've always received live, healthy snails with all of the colors I've purchased.These specific blues were super healthy with nice, thick shells. They arrived quickly and on time regardless of the glitch with the USPS tracking system. They quickly adapted and were already out of their shells when I received them, antennas up and suctioned on the bag. Thats a great sign! The packaging did NOT smell fouled up. I was very impressed with both the Purples and the Blues I've bought and I highly recommend buying from AquaticMotiv!Also- they respond quickly and communicate super well.Definitely 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They’re gorgeous. However, the packaging wasn’t as great as I’ve come to know from purchasing with other companies. The snails came wrapped in paper towels and placed in a long skinny bag. There was some “insulation” in the form of thin cardboard pieces, but no actual insulation for the cold conditions of late November. I ordered 3 grey snails and 3 black; of the 6 only one showed up not alive. All and all, the brilliance of the colors makes up for the lost snail buddy, and the other 5 snails seem very healthy. With better packaging this would easily be a 5 star purchase.
