Dwarf Sagittaria Subulata is often referred to as Dwarf sag. Are you looking for an easy to grow carpeting plant? Look no further! Dwarf Sagittaria are the perfect easy to grow carpet plants for your aquarium. These plants may initially melt back some, they just need time to grow and establish in your tank. Keep in mind, if you want plants to grow tight and low along the bottom (like a carpet) then you want to provide good lighting. In general, the stronger the light, the more bushy/compact plants will grow since they aren't having to reach for the light.

Things to remember about Dwarf Sag
Dwarf sag may melt back some initially, the plants will quickly grow back provided you have a good setup for plant growth and meet their needs. Dwarf sag are heavy root feeders, so if you want to see the fastest possible growth, provide nutrients for the plants in the form of root tabs. This is not a requirement for successful plant growth but rather a way to get your plants to grow faster.

These little guys came quickly and arrived healthy and alive.My only comment and subsequent feedback is that they were trimmed before they were sent, clearly to adhere to the 2-3 inch size listed. I've seen mixed comments on d. sag's reaction to being trimmed (thriving versus drying), and so it makes me a little nervous about long term quality. I trust these folks know what they're doing and that they'll be fine, but I think it's worth expanding on your "SIZE" section in the description to specify they come trimmed opposed to just being young dwarf sags. It also might be worth adding a picture of them in their packaged form (the little plastic bags they come in).Anyway, everything else is great! Good quality and quantity for it's price, and I feel even if some do die, there's plenty in this order to create healthy sprouts.

All healthy, green, many starts. As expected condition, easy to plant. Expected size, high quality. Arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. Remember when you get these most will green will melt back. I float mine in aquariums for a week or two and let the melt happen. Easier to plant after that. You will see new roots starting and new green leaves forming. Every start is already growing after a couple weeks and all are planted.

I waited to write this review because in defense of the seller I take their well raised and packaged products and chuck them into my outdoor goldfish pond. The dwarf sag arrived looking beautiful and healthy with excellent roots. I planted it straight into the sand substrate and except for the few that the goldfish and pleco uprooted (which I relocated) they're doing great. Even the relocated ones are now holding their own. All are rooting well. I have purchased a variety of plants from this seller and they always arrive well packaged and healthy. I will continue to use them and would recommend them highly. I feel that I get more value for my money as the plants grow well in my environment even though that is not the environment they came from. That tells me they are hardy and healthy plants.

This is what I wrote to them directly, so I'll repeat it here. I won't normally write a negative review, but this is over the top. What was sent to me looks nothing like what this plant should look like.Honestly, what was sent to me, is an insult. These Dwarf Sagitarrius were pruned down to almost stubs. The roots, also pruned way too far back. And many of the leaves on each plant were dead or on the way. I know what this plant should look like and this isn't it. It's an insult to receive something in such horrible condition. They make the entire tank look awful and I'm going to pull them out.
