Why Your Plant May Look Different

Most of our plants are grown emersed. (Roots in water, leaves/stems out of water). This means the plant will melt (shed its "air" grown leaves) when submerged in your aquarium and grow back its submerged growth.

Many plants have VERY different looks (leaf shape, size, and color) when comparing their Emerged growth to their Submerged growth. This is very common. When you submerge your plant in your aquarium, it will melt back (this does not mean it is dying or dead) and grow back it's submerged growth which is will resemble the picture used for this plant.

Red Plants may need more iron (Fe) supplement than other plants to achieve their best look. Iron (Fe) is the mineral that causes the red to appear. Please research your plants and provide them the environment and nutrients they need to thrive.

Damn near everything was either small and whispy or dead. I received 6 just as advertised. I give a 2 instead of a 1 because I also received a 7th one as a bonus. I'm unsure whether or not as to compensate for the dead and rotting plant? One was in shreds and completely brown. Which I looked up what it was and it's a rare blyxia red which made me sad. The others were picked prematurely in my opinion the rest are all small and whispy. I hardly even notice them in my tank because they only have a few leaves. 1/7 of them I received is strong and healthy and has good color. Buy at your own discretion.

First time ordering plants from Amazon. I have always gone to our LFS to find plants. They were amazing and literally 5 minutes from the house. A store dedicated to freshwater planted tanks. We moved countries and away from LFS and needed new plants for new tank set up and have not really had a chance to venture out to any new LFS.Plants arrived packaged well. Each individually packaged. None have melted. I was a little disappointed by the variety I received but I knew I was taking a chance. I was hoping for more low/foreground plants for my 10 gallon but these are all tall, background plants. They will have to go in the 36 gallon instead. One plant bag did come with a snail.I have low tech tank, no co2. Because we have just moved I still have the lid and light that came with the 36 bow front. Not my favourite for lighting. I will update in the future.

I ordered 6 different types and got 2 bonus. As of today (5 days later) the pants have started to get red like I wanted. I was also surprised to have another addition to my aquarium... so far I have found 1 pond snail. I didn't have any before and I know they could become a nuisance but I've decided to leave it be. I have a ton of mollies, some mystery snails and some frogs so I'll see if it sorts itself out. Overall, I'm very excited.

The plants I received with a couple of extra are doing great but they are not snail free this time. I didn't have a problem with orders in the past from this company, but now I'm dealing with an infestation of bladder snails. That's the frustrating part.

All the plants came in spectacular condition, I was surprised they arrived so quickly as well! However, I am a bit new at planting and was a bit puzzled on why I received two small brown bulbs instead of the plant itself, turns out I received two tiger LOTUS* bulbs! I currently have no idea how to care for them since there weren't a lot of instructions (There weren't none but the name.), so I’m worried they won't root and will die since there aren't a lot of videos on how to grow and care these plants properly :(Also, thanks for the free plant!! The amazon sword looks lovely :D I plan on ordering two more bundles today now that there is more available!Update as of 3/15/2024:Sadly the bulbs died, but the rest of the plants are in amazing condition! I'm a bit sad the bulbs themselves didn't sprout, it looks like they have some sort of white mold growing from them which I promptly removed from my tank. I received another pair of tiger bulbs and I'm not sure what to do with them since I'm worried about the same outcome D:As of 4/2/2024:Wanted to leave a quick update, I managed to sprout the 2nd pair of bulbs and theyre growing! However, I noticed the plants came with snails and guessing by their store it’s mystery snails. I ended up getting four so I plan on splitting them between the tanks but I hope they dont lay eggs everywhere while theyre still small and munch up my plants! D:

The plants are great! Ordered 6 and they sent one extra! They were packaged and labeled well and arrived sooner than expected, ordered them on Monday and got them Wednesday. Definitely recommend ordering and will probably order more eventually. My brother and I just started planted tanks and these are a nice start! Note: both of our tanks are 29 gallons for size reference!

Great bundle of plants! You get a bundle of each type of plant which means you get 4-5 stems of each one! I even got a bonus plant and I wasn’t sure if the bonus plant would make it but after the melting stage it’s been doing great! You also get a root tab with it. I broke up the tab to put a little piece by each group of plants. The reds came out so pretty! Only bad thing is my plants had baby snails in them. Which I didn’t mind but I know others wouldn’t be too happy about it. All the plants are thriving and look great in the 40 gallon.

My tank is new, new substrate, new filter. I now have at least 10 or more snails in my tank. Not cool.
