About this item

  • Main Usage 1: Pressurizes the cylinder to help hold valves closed with compressed air. So The oil seal of the valve can be replaced without dismantling;
  • Main Usage 2: When the cylinder is in the compression stroke. If the air tightness of the engine is not good enough, you can hear the continuous leakage of air. Diagnosis of damaged parts by listening to the leak position;
  • Compatibility: Suitable for the gasoline engine with M14 or M12 spark plug. The joint of this tool must be installed on the position of the spark plug;
  • Working requirements: Compressed air (working pressure 30psi≤P≤1000psi), Air inlet: 1/4" quick coupler male plug;
  • Anti high pressure: Upgraded products using improved materials 2024, Steel wire braided hose, Maximum compressive strength of 1000PSI.

Installation and Connection

WFG

Working principle 1

Pressurizes the cylinder by the air compressor pump to help hold valves closed with compressed air. So The oil seal of the valve can be replaced without dismantling.

Working principle 2

Working principle 2

When the cylinder is in the compression stroke. All valves are closed. You can pressurize the cylinder by compressed air. If the air tightness of the engine is not good enough, you can hear the continuous leakage of air. Diagnosis of damaged parts by listening to the leak position.

Bought it over the winter but wasn’t able to use the product for months. Kept it stored indoor, in a normal temperature environment. Eventually the weather got nicer (last week in Toronto) and I decided to use it on my engine to hold up the valve. Unfortunately this piece of **** gave up on me and started leaking and the valve dropped so I had to remove the whole engine. Really hoping I can receive a return it since it’s faulty.

haven't used it yet but looks like a good replacement for my old one

This product works great for allowing air to enter the cylinder to keep your valves from dropping in. Would definitely recommend to anyone else.

Used it to swap out the springs in a VW engine. Per the instructions on the box, 30-50 psi working pressure. Set the hose pressure to 30 psi and carefully opened the valve. Worked like a charm! Kept the valve closed while I swapped the springs. Glad I have this tool. Not sure how many times I will be able to use it but I'll post an update if needed.

I always used to use the hose from my cylinder leak down kit but now I won't have to worry about wearing out my leak down kit.

It says 4500 psi working pressure. Well my ears and my 120psi compressor would beg to differ. Amazon bears some safety responsibility for allowing this dangerous item to be sold on their site. Do not think you will get lucky. Don't buy it.

I have not tried it yet but seems to be good quality from the looks and feel of it.

This thing worked great. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star product is the fact I had to use an adapter for my particular application. Would've been nice if that was included. Luckily the adapters from a pressure gauge work well. All in all, it did the job.
