When the cylinder is in the compression stroke. If the engine airtightness is not good enough, you can hear the sound of constant air leakage. Diagnose damaged parts by listening to the leak location.
Our Pressure Pipe M14+M18 Thread to 1/4 NPT with Ball Valve. The connector of this tool must be installed in the position of the spark plug.

The overall fit and finish is nice with the threads being well cut and accurate. The crimping on the hose is good. The quality of the valve is in direct relation to the price. The tool works as intended but not on a Ford 5.4L engine. The pocket I.D. on the Ford 5.4L engine is smaller than the diameter of the brass portion of the tool. I turned the brass down and installed a section of plumbing pipe that was just the correct height to clear the deck of the intake manifold. So basically consider this tool a parts kit for the 5.4L. I was pressed on time and this was faster than trying to find the parts and pieces individually . I initially had tried to modify a spark plug in the lathe and pounding out the ceramic center. But after a bit of time decided small bits of ceramic in my face was not worth the hassle and I ordered this tool.
