So I guess I said it all with the title of my review but I’ll elaborate a bit more it’s a super well made valve spring compressor with multiple fittings so it works for multiple different types of valve and valve spring assemblies it isn’t the most fancy or feature loaded of valve spring compressors however it most certainly is a very smooth multi purpose type that will get the job done without any problems and the best part is that it comes with a blow molded case that’s nice and slim so it’s easy to deal with…the icing on the cake is the fact it comes with two double sided valve lapping tools sadly they’re an extra addition not included in the case itself so it’s just something to be mindful of as it’s easy enough to misplace them or have them suffer some damage unintentionally while loose in your tool box otherwise it’s too good for the price to pass on I definitely recommended

Please make corrections: First, this tool will only work on cylinder heads that are removed from the engine. This may seem obvious but sometime the only reason to remove the valve springs is to replace the valve steam seals with the cylinder head on the engine. The valve spring compressor is cheaply made. The adapters will snap loosely on the screws. And the T handle that inserts in the screw hole will always fall of the ground. There's no stopper to retain it on the screw. The valve lapping tools are not included. They are not in the plastic case and the set ships as is, with no cardboard box. The plastic case itself is good. This tool will do the job for occasional use. But if you are a repair shop you will have to do something with the T handle bar. One easy solution is to cut two 1/4" inch lengh of carburetor hose and press them on the tips of the T handle bar. That way it will not slip out of the screw each minute you are using the compressor. Here's your text with some corrections and refinements for clarity:First, this tool will only work on cylinder heads that are removed from the engine. I got this to replace the valves on my Yamaha WR 250f. It works great and is the same model sold by dozens of other manufacturers. It's a big c shape clamp style compressor and it's simple to use. I already knew how to use one but it's a pretty simple device, any YouTube video will explain how to use it. The case is a nice bonus to keep things together and organized. While I used this for a small 250cc dirt bike engine, I'm not sure how this would fare on a larger engine with stronger valve springs. It fulfilled my needs, although I have two valves which the included collars didn't fit so I'm trying to figure out how to remove those or find the right size collar to use.
