If you do porcelain tile and you have tricky cuts these are excellent at trimming or cleaning up hard to get areas. I use these to trim back holes for shower value installations after using a diamond hole saw

I was hoping it would be a bit more aggressive and faster but it did get the job done. Don’t use it for large removal but it’s ok for clearing out a hard to get spot after my diamond cup or diamond blade.

So I jumped on a good deal on a sink faucet, only to find out my old fashioned bathroom sink was about 4mm in diameter too small.A quick search online revealed I could get this Diamond coated Finger/Milling Bit, install on my angle grinder, and wide the hole myself.Yep! They were right. It didn't take long at all to wide the hole large enough to install the new sink faucet.Definitely recommend. It was also wild to look at under my digital microscope (photos included)

Used this to expand holes in ceramic tile in a shower for the valves and shower hear. Made quick work of creating 4" holes from an initial 3/4" pilot hole.

Installed in my Ryobi grinder I was able to easily and safely enlarge a few badly centered holes in our new granite countertop so that the different elements of our faucet set lined up. Highly recommended.

Bought to work on some holes in porcelain for a couple bathrooms I’m redoing. Used it for 3 holes now.I’ve seen expensive Italian ones at tile stores and for a few home type uses this will be fine. I’m sure for contractors it’s worth a better quality.I used it on a variable speed 7” sander I have. Worked awesome with and without water and on speed 2. Used it dry after I installed a tile since it wasn’t quite wide enough for my faucets on a drop in tub.

I bought this to widen the faucet holes on a very old "Standard" wall hung, porcelain sink. It worked great. No jumping and smooth cuts. Clamped a hose to the sink and ran a steady stream of water during the process. The bit still looks new afterwards. It did chip the glaze just a little bit around the top of the holes, but it didn't matter because the faucet sits over it. I don't think this has anything to do with the bit, just the nature of glazed porcelain.I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again if needed.

I’m building raised flower beds from concrete wall blocks and wanted to add lighting. I purchased lights (On Amazon) which are meant to sit under the wall cap.The problem is they cause the wall caps to sit unevenly. I posted a question and got a great solution - I had to route out the material.I was looking for concrete router bits ($$$$) and came across this product so I figured I would give it a shot.I traced the outline and cut the channel for the wire with a diamond blade (Samurai 5TBBlue0050 5-Inch... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003SZRX9U?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) and used this bit to slowly remove the material between the lines.I imagine this bit is primarily used for harder stone (like granite) so it made the project a price of cake!Despite the copious amounts of dust (luckily I was outside and wearing goggles, ear plugs, and a respirator) the bit performed flawlessly.I did have better luck with a thrusting motion in and out from the face of the paver rather than side to side but I used the latter to smooth out the cut.The cap stones now sit flush with the top of the wall and look awesome.Dimensions of the tool were also accurate but I did remove my angle grinder guard as I needed the entire length.Awesome tool - I’m sure I’ll use it one day for its intended purpose.
