These bits work pretty good. The first one wore out fairly quick but could’ve been the way I was using it because the second one held up great and did a great job

I was a little hesitant about the design, never used a solid bit to drill through tile. This bit works perfectly and I think is easier to start than the core bits I have always used. I always use water, plenty of it from a spray bottle. After drilling six holes, the only wear was the paint, the diamond tip never wore down when compared to the unused tip. I use a Milwaukee screw gun that uses the quick change mount. It is superb because I can get my hand up very close to the bit unlike a drill chuck and start the hole precisely where I want it.

We just finished a complete bathroom renovation with $100 per tile on the wall. We didn’t want to ruin or crack any tiles by improperly drilling holes. These ceramic drill bits are just the perfect tool for the job.I only wished I had these bits 10 years ago when we renovated the basement bathroom.

I needed to drill holes in some tile I have around by bathtub. I read reviews on what I needed to use (I assumed I had ceramic tile) and tried a carbide bit and didn’t make a dent in the tile (I must have porcelain tile). Ordered these diamond tipped bits and cut through the tile fairly easy. The bits want to walk around a bit so it’s best to start them at an angle and then straighten up after getting them started.

It worked, but NOT the way I thought it would. Installing a grab bar I was ready for a nightmare - our glass tiles are near impossible to drill.... First three holes took half an hour with a slow speed etc. and I figured I'll have to use a second drill bit for the next two.... since there was nothing to lose and drill has a hex drive, I put it in my Bosch 12V Impact driver... drilled at full speed, dunking it in a glass of water every 20-30 seconds when wax started to smoke; Finished three holes in less than five minutes!!! What's more, "diamonds" seem all there and bit looks great. I am still scratching my head, but, there you are - my two cents! YOUR RESULTS MAY VARY ;-)

This is by far the best drill bit for drilling a hole through hard porcelain. For my hobby projects I need to drill a hole through hard porcelain. This cuts delicate porcelain like butter. I have used both a drill press and hand held drill with the same 100% satisfactory results. Best is with very little pressure, it takes about 30 seconds with light pressure to cut a porcelain plate. I didn't use water, no chipping, only chalk like residue. It is possible to enlarge a hole with the sides of the drill bit.

Worked great to put four holes in porcelain tile. I doubt I could get any more out of the bit though. It’s a winner for a small job at a good price.

Good product, cuts through thick porcelain tiles if you have drill set to high speed.

I've used many traditional masonry bits over the years, but I had a job to drill some irreplaceable marble, so I didn't want to use the standard bits and risk a crack if the tip catches. I was intrigued that this did not have the traditional spearhead design, so I thought there would be a lower risk of damage. This bit worked extremely well. I used a very slow speed, and moderate pressure. I got three perfect holes, and the bit still looks like new.
