so one of the cutter tips sheared off after going about an inch into concrete . did not hit rebar. close inspection of the metal shows its a very cheap casting with lots of porosity ... what a complete waste of $30

Broke. Not very strong. Had to purchase another bit to finish my project. Not worth the money

Overall good bit. Bought a 3 inch bit. Drill adapter broke before completing the 1st hole, but I contacted the seller and it was replaced as long as I could send them a picture of broken adapter. Now I just have to figure out how to get the other half out of my drill. If adapter hadn't broke it would have gotten a solid 5 stars

This tool broke quickly drilling soft perlite concrete. Poor manufacturing design left a weak area at the bottom of the cutter tube where it sheared right off. Seller was very good about full refunding but who needs the hassle in the middle of a job.

Worked great for taking asphalt samples with my drill. I wish it came with a hex arbor shank instead of the SDS style shank. A 13/32 deep socket and hex adapter might let me keep running this on my Milwaukee drill without worrying about marring the drills chuck.

Did not get all the peices for the bit

The bits fit on the hammer drill was snug but the guide pin doesn’t tighten enough to hold the bit properly. I had to replace the pin numerous times on a 3” core. Considering the price of the bit the pin should hold properly, teeth seem strong but if you’re intending to use it for precision holes in stone and not concrete then this might not be the bit for you.
