It is so simple to assemble. Just screw in the 3/8" connector to the back, open the grips, and drop in the screw (that screws in reverse). Easy. This is good for any screwdriver to be honest, not just Makita. The key is helpful as well. Make sure they stay as a pair so you can tighten and loosen your bits. I will be putting this on my home-made drill press (which uses my drill). It's a good use and it is solid metal, heavy, and durable.
