I've owned this adapter for over a year prior to writing this review and I use this adapter in my torque wrench every day. I recommend using a cheaper option until a design issue is resolved.If you use insert bits (not power bits) then this adapter is fantastic. There is basically zero wobble between this type of bit and the adapter. If this was my only use case, it would be 5 stars, 100%.If the bits have a different profile, like power grooves, there is a significant amount of wobble! Even when using wera branded bits. Don't get me wrong, the adapter still functions, but there is about 1mm of in-and-out play and a few degrees of side to side wobble. I find this extremely frustrating, to the point that I started jamming a chunk of rubber band down in the bit holder to keep things tight.Wera could fix this problem by putting a spring-loaded set screw in the bottom of their bit holders to consume the extra space when needed. Heck, they could do it for all their products that use the same ball-retention method since they all have the same problem.Until then, you can get better (or the same quality) for less money.

I bought this so I could attach hex bits to my 1/4" socket wrenches. I liked enough to buy the same type bit holder for my 3/8" socket wrench set. The fit is a little loose. But, it is still worth purchasing.

The build quality of this is excellent. The mechanism to hold the hex bits is absolutely solid. The fit at the ratchet end is perfect. So when using on an impact driver as a screw driver (making decking) it has been perfect. Well worth the additional cost compared to other similar items.

Excellent bit holder. It works with all of my Wera Hex-Plus bits. I use it with a torque wrench a lot and it holds everything perfectly.

Unless I have a specific need due to space constraint this is my go to for bit sockets. It's much cheaper to replace the bit instead of a whole socket especially when dealing with security bits. It also works well when combined with a square drive impact.

Very well made, although I would not suggest it for adapting from small 3/8" battery impacts for driving screws etc. It wobbles to much, I also purchased a Milwaukee adapter and it works better for Phillips bits etc.

Wera tools bit holders are unsurpassed by any other in the industry. I have one from Bosch and another no brand for adapting them to ratchets, and nothing can hold a candle to the Wera, well worth the money, and they do not appear to rust very quickly, if at all.
