This Jacobs chuck-key, is the real thing', made by Jacobs in the USA. This size is for a fairly large 5/8" capacity drill chuck with a 3/8" inch pilot. It is obviously a quality American made tool . . .

I mistakenly bought the J3 size chuck key thinking that it was what I needed (3/8" hole size) . It worked but the teeth didn't mesh properly. I found out that I had the 16mm chuck which requires a different chuck key. This key fits a whole lot better. Now the teeth mesh properly. I'm happy. Its the little things right?

The original chuck key had been damaged and was inoperable. The replacement chuck key worked just like it was intended. I would recommend this product for anyone who would need to replace their chuck key.
