I have been wanting a keyless chuck on this drill press for a while and this one certainly is impressive for the price. As shown in the pictures, the jaws on this chuck actually close down to hold a 1/64th bit. This means no more swapping chucks when drilling small holes. I have only 0.002 total indicator runout chucking a 1/4" ground dowel. Some of that is in the spindle on my HF drill press. The fit and finish is very good and the action is very smooth, a little more so when closing than opening. Overall, this is a superb tool.

I like these keyless drill chucks, they make setting up and swapping drill bits much easier. This one from Lzcdelyxiao does just the trick, and fit my 1920s Buffalo Forge drill press perfectly. I was really pleased with the precise tolerances of this chuck, with no wobble or deflection under load.

Took it out of the box, rotated the chuck one revolution by hand (with nothing in it) and it locked up solid. Tried using the tool to loosen it, nothing. Tried using the tool to tighten it, nothing. Back it goes.

Looks fairly well made. I needed a bigger chuck for my lathe tail stock and looks like it will be perfect for that.

I have wanted to replace the chuck on my drill press with a new keyless chuck and I got this to replace it. Unfortunately it will not fit it as mine has an older style attachment and that's my fault for not verifying beforehand. But that doesn't take anything away from the nice chuck. This is extremely well made. Opening and closing the jaws is extremely smooth and you can tell this is a finely made piece of machinery. If you have a drill press that this will fit it will be a fine, accurate upgrade for you.
