Spend the extra cash on quality bits. I tried to skimp and it's going to cost me because I might have to replace my $250 router. I will try to get it fixed first, but that's still going to be expensive.P.S.I was cutting through pine - not even a hard wood.

As of this writing, the Flush Trim Router Bits by CSOOM are $15.59, which is an economical $2.23 per bit.The bits came in a small plain box with each bit protected in a small ziplock bag and placed in a thin plastic box with a cap to protect them during shipment. The bits were oiled to prevent rust and there were no visible flaws that I could detect. There were six different sizes with an additional ¼” bit which gets used more than other sizes in my shop. The labels on the individual boxes are in metric units so I added the imperial sizes to make them easier for me to identify.I set up each bit in my router table to a cutting depth of ¾” to see how each bit would handle a single-pass cut. They all ran true and the seven bits cut smoothly and evenly with no chatter or tearing of the wood. The width of the cut channels was exactly what they are advertised to be.Since this initial test, I have put several more hours on a couple of these bits and they still cut like they did when they were brand new. Hopefully they will last a long time.

I have my "nice" CMT and Whiteside bits with 1/2" shanks that I use with my OF 1400 on hardwood, and then I have my cheap, off-brand, beater bits with 1/4" shanks that I use with my Bosch 1617 for particle board, MDF, plywood, and anything that tends to dull edges pretty quickly. I bought these for the latter category. Haven't had a chance to use them yet, but they seem sharp enough by the fingernail test. They were simply packed in a very small cardboard box, each housed in its own little plastic case inside. No instructions included, but none needed if you're familiar with these bits already. My expectations are relatively low to begin with but I'll update this review if they appear to outperform over time.

Working on Photo frames, these were just what I needed to route out area for glass an photo to fit in. Basically making 5 x 7 and 8 x 10 frames for a custom build collage.

I've only used one of the bits but I've used it a few dozen times. I've been routing out about 1/8" in 2x4's to counter sink nailing guards. The bit does a good job and has kept my renovation project moving forward.

I ordered these ‘Straight Flush Trim Router Bits’ to use in a cabinet building project I was doing with my son. I figured they would be good when it came to detailing the cabinet doors. The bits worked fine for us. The cuts were clean and straight. And after using them on 20 doors and drawer fronts, they seemed to be as sharp as when we got them. We even used them to put an angled edge on a countertop, and they did fine with that as well.I like the size range included in this ‘Straight Flush Trim Router Bits’ set. I’ve never been lacking for a size in any project we’ve done. And the quality seems good. I can recommend this set.

The router bits are pretty good for a cheap Chinese brand no one has ever heard of. They cut well with minimum damage and the quality is surprisingly good for the price.Side note, I recently discovered 1/4 peg boards are perfect for keeping your router bits well organized. I add labels using the information on the packaging attached with clear tape.

The 2022 UPGRAD Double Flute Straight Router Bits 4pcs, 1/4 Inch Shank are a pretty good set. I used these to cut through a sheet of melamine, and they worked great. I would use them on anything harder than pine, but these will work great on pine and sheet wood.
