Beware that the bearing may fly off - it did with me in the first 30 seconds of flush trimming veneer - I would of lock tighten the nut but it disappeared in the sawdust… sent it back and replaced it with a Yonico which has a nylon bearing nut……works great

Really a great looking bit... smooth shank that appears almost polished. Flutes are precise with consistently sharp edges across. The bearings run smoothly. This type of bit excels in tight applications such as cutting off veneer on the insides of objects. The one quirk is that this is not a downcut bit but rather a compression bit.

Cuts well, but the blades cut very slightly deeper than the bearings leaving a noticable demarkation line when making multiple passes at different depths.

It measures exactly 1/4 inch and is a good quality. The end spins freely and the cutting edges are very sharp. Pleased with the order.

This bit is very sharp straight out of the package. I've only used it a couple time on white oak taking light cuts, but it cuts smoothly, and leaves a flat finish that requires minimal sanding. Works great for the price.

I recently purchased the Yakamoz 1/4 Inch Shank Bottom Bearing Downcut Spiral Flush Trim Router Bit and it's been a game-changer for my woodworking projects. The bit is incredibly sharp, durable, and produces clean cuts. The bottom bearing design ensures precise flush trimming, and the downcut spiral minimizes tear-out. I've been using this bit for a variety of materials, and it's consistently delivered excellent results. If you're looking for a high-quality flush trim router bit, I highly recommend this one.

Hmmm... It looks like the listing is for a down cut carbide spiral flush trim bit, and that's what I thought I ordered, but what I received was actually a compression spiral flush trim bit. What that means is that the part of the bit that is closest to the router is a down cut, while the portion closest to the bit's bearing is an up cut, so it compresses the wood's fibers towards the center of the piece you're cutting, which helps eliminate tearout and blowout on both faces of your workpiece.I'm not complaining too much because for my purposes this will work fine. However, I already have a compression flush trim bit, which is why I ordered this one trying to get a downcut flush trim bit.In terms of this bit, it appears to be a good quality bit. I'm no expert on carbide and the different grades, nor do I have the ability to test this to see what it is, but the machining on it is good, the cutting edges are very sharp and it has that telltale blue/purple coating for what it's worth. The flush trim bearings spin easily and smoothly. The cutting length is 1-1/8" as advertised.I'll be using this for flush trimming some edge banding on cabinet doors (which is why I was looking for a downcut--the cut will be backed up so no risk of tear out) that I'm going to be building. I haven't started that project yet, but I will update this review if this bit doesn't perform as I hope it will.In summary, this isn't exactly what I expected, so if your projects absolutely require a downcut bit, be careful that what you receive is indeed what you ordered. But the bit is a nice bit.

I intend to use this bit for following acrylic templates. The bit is sharp and cuts cleanly. I haven't used it enough to dull it, but being solid carbide, it should last a long time, provided it isn't overheated. Taking shallow passes and taking a break to let the bit cool will increase longevity.I'm very happy with this.

The bearing came off on the first try. Bad quality. Look elsewhere.

Bearing fell off as also on as I turned in the router. Would give zero stars if I could. Do not waste your money

As other reviewers have mentioned, I also received a compresssion bit instead of a downcut bit. I'm not complaining, though, as the bit still does what I needed it to do and, until this one, I had not had an opportunity to use a compression bit. It's a great bit for the price... sharp... cuts well... bearing spins freely... consider me a happy camper (erm... happy router).
