Whiteside 2702 flush trim bit. After reading the comments about loose bearings I checked mine before first use and they were fine. I used both top and bottom bearings with perfect results while trimming cherry inset cabinet doors.

I'm a relatively new woodworker and been having trouble glueing up strips of wood together. Putting this bit in a router table has upped my game considerably. Once you have this aligned properly this bit makes flawless trim actions on the edge of your lumber. Easy to get a perfect fit between boards.

The Whiteside bits are well made and sharp as can be, can not go wrong at the price. have not had the use of it long enough to speak t longevity but the ones I have already take sa ton of work and stay very sharp

I replaced an old but quality bit with this. The dual pilots makes this very useful. I no longer have to work with the patterns on the bottom.Updated on 4/28/2022: Less than 2 hours of actual running time on the bit.While using this bit the inside pilot came loose. The set screw went missing while in use. No problem, I was using the outer pilot at the time. A few minutes later the bit sank into the wood when the outer pilot lost its screw and threw the washer and pilot. I will think twice before buying this bit again and if I do i will periodically check the 2 screws.

After researching pattern bits for “days” one of the reviewers for another bit mentioned how they swear by this company and that the other bit they purchased from a different company was “bad” so I gave Whiteside a try. Immediately I am impressed by the quality of manufacturing, packaging, and cut of the bit. Will certainly look at Whiteside in the future for other router bit purchases!
