It worked very well. All the parts they sold me were very useful. I am happy with the installation and operation.

I installed this in my RV to replace an old camera that really only hinted at what was behind the motorhome. Wow, what a difference - bright display, full color images. I wish I'd replaced it sooner. Seems to be well made of metal with a good weatherproof rating. Small built-in sunshade, I'm going to try and use the camera without the larger shade that I had covered the previous camera with.I'd hoped to find connectors and just disconnect the old camera and connect the new one. To this end, I bought here on Amazon the correct aviation to RCA adapters so that I would be OK regardless of which connector was in the existing RV. But alas either there were no connectors or they were installed in such a way that they could not be pulled out of the hole in the rear of the RV.So I had to cut the wire in the RV and then cut the connectors off the ends of the aviation adapter wires. I soldered them together, sealed the joints with heat shrink and then sealed the entire assembly in larger heat shrink. In this manner I did not have to cut the wires on the camera itself, just screw its plug into the adapter socket which was now at the end of the RV wire. It's finicky to do this, especially at the top of a ladder, but the wires are thin without being impossible and it was easy in my case to untwist the braided copper shielding around the yellow inner wire. The camera has a nice long cable, maybe 12-15 inches. I didn't really need all that but in the end was able to stuff it in the body of the RV. I'd ignore the paper that came in the box, it refers to an audio pin. Certainly the camera doesn't have a microphone, some other systems with audio use a 5 pin connector. Maybe that extra pin is another ground, I don't know as I just used the connectors on the 4 pin adapter.Another reviewer lamented that there were only three wires in the camera cable but four in the connector. Perhaps this reviewer did not realize that the black wire was ground and served both as the current return for the red +12V wire but also as the grounding connector for the shielded (coax) cable that must be run through the car. If you leave the shield unconnected then you will get lots of noise, which is exactly what that reviewer saw. Nothing wrong at all with the camera in this regard.

We purchased our Winnebago Via 25T with back-up camera "dead," but only functioning with side cameras. So, upon removing the old unit, we realized that someone goofed-up the cables and it was a mess. We searched a suitable cameras on-line and the price for OEM was just ridiculous.Once we discovered this camera, we ordered it right away. The price was a 1/4 of what typical OEM pricing looked like. We ordered a 65' 4-prong cable elsewhere and once we received both - it plugged and played with no issues. No interference, awesome quality of the video feed. At night - it's black and white and very clear video feed. During the day - beautiful color and clean video with decent resolution. This camera is built like a TANK - very solid construction. We did not utilize the brackets provided, but fitted into existing one.HIGHLY RECOMMEND for those who seek to save a few $$$ and is very easy as DIY.

The camera works great 90% of the time. It has a hard time picking a brightness at dawn and dusk, especially with the headlights from other cars.

Missed the returns window due to not having the time to install it. Got round to it 11 days late, but the unit won't display an image, unsure if it's the camera or it's cable.

Purchased several units almost 2 years ago. Easy to install ,worked very well on tractor/combine. We had a problem with one monitor after about 19 months. When I contacted the company Michelle was able to arrange shipment of replacement unit and we were up and running in no time. Great customer service.

This is my second trailer camera system, the first was awful. This set up does exactly what I want. I haul horses and like to watch them on camera, but struggled with a wireless system. This setup has a great picture, displays the interior camera and as soon as I go into reverse it switches to the outside rear camera. My only suggestion would be to offer different cords or at least outline exactly what type of plugs they are. I think they are 4 pin 13mm aviation plugs, but until I receive the ones I ordered I can't match it up, to be sure.I just ordered 2 more cameras to setup another trailer, they are cheap to buy and work great.

Good quality camera system, easy to fit and the best image quality of any reverse camera I’ve fitted so far. Fitted to a tractor and trailer, even with a 20metre cable image quality is excellent and more than adequate to see what’s behind you.Two camera inputs are available with a trigger wire that can be connected to automatically switch input when vehicle put into reverse. All connectors feel well made and sturdy, both camera and screen appear to be reasonably well made, the camera bracket is very strong and durable. The weak point is the plastic bracket that holds the monitor and just sticks to the dash with adhesive. This is the only monitor fixing method supplied.I didn’t use this and ground down the heads of a couple of bolts to fit in the track on the back of the monitor and bolted on a RAM mount ball and then used their fixings to hold it securely to the cab.Great kit, the supplied monitor bracket may be strong enough for your needs but a simple stronger fixing can easily be made up, definitely recommended.

I bought this to replace an older camera in my motorhome. Since there was already a 5 circuit coax installed (and very difficult to replace), I decided that I would reuse my existing coax cord, and simply cut the plugs off and splice the wires onto the new plugs that came with this unit. As seen in the description and pictures, they make a very big deal about this being a "4 Pin Connector" and "4 Pin Cable". THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE LIE AND FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! The plug that you get does indeed have 4 pins when you look at it, however when I cut the connector off I found that there are only 3 wires inside of the cable itself - I've included a picture that shows 1 red, 1 yellow, and 1 black. Therefore one of those 4 pins is just dead and connects to nothing inside. I had first only cut the ends off of the long coax cable that is included with the unit, but after discovering this I decided to go ahead and cut the connector off of the monitor side as well to see if perhaps it was just the coax extension missing the 4th wire - it was not. As you can see in my second picture, there are only 3-wires inside of the monitor cable as well - 1 red, 1 yellow, and 1 ground. Yet there are 4 pins on the connector. I can not imagine why there would be a 4-pin connector on a 3-wire coax other than to try and deceive buyers. Business practices seen all too often from Chinese manufacturers. I did go ahead and install the system since I knew that I could not return it having cut the wires. It has a pretty decent image during the day but I did have to mess with the settings quite a bit - for example I tow a red Jeep behind my motorhome, it appears purple on the screen unless I turn the color setting all the way to the max. Night time vision is non-existent. I have also included a picture of how it looks at night - just a washed out white screen is the best you can get from it. I have to just turn it off while driving at night because the washed out bright white screen blinds me. Overall, this item is not at all as described and more troubling that it is falsely advertised. Do yourself a favor - steer clear, spend a little more and get something better.
