I got this to replace the mount on my backup camera because the suction part on the other one melted, and this works great.

First one would not work. Suction cup material was damaged when received. Returned for a replacement. It looks better. I will update this review once I attempt to install.

Not very good. With nuts very tight camera moves around whilst on smooth road. Not fit for purpose

Unfortunately the nut on the holder was just slightly too large to slide into the backup camera we purchased from Costco a while back. Would have loved it otherwise but had to return it.

I have a CarPlay 7-Inch Touchscreen I purchased last year that included a suction mount but it used a ball and clamp setup that relied on friction to keep the screen in place. It failed miserably. No matter how much I tightened it, it could not handle the weight of the screen and would loosen continually. This unit has a much sturdier setup that can handle my screen with no issues and has made using the screen bearable again. Great product.
