Note
Plant Watering Globes can be inserted diagonally or horizontally in the flowerpot, but the main influence on the dripping speed depends on your soil quality, and it has a relationship with the soil quality! If there is soil in the leaking port, the water will be discharged much slower!

Obviously the larger globes hold a bit more water. you can used a pencil to create a hole in the dirt before inserting the globes as didn’t want to apply too much pressure - since they are glass. The globes drained slowly over 5 days.

Perhaps I was a bit too rough when pushing them into the dirt, but both broke after a few months of use. I’ll blame myself on that, but be gentle with them or they can break easily.

These are beautiful. But it’s been a bit of trial and error. My first set, I got the large size with three bulbs. The stems are very long and the bulbs very large. Two out of three bulbs broke. Maybe it was a defective set. The company replaced the set. To use, saturate the soil w water, then make a tunnel with a stick or dowel for the stem of the bulb. I slightly angle the tunnel. I later ordered a set of 8; the bulbs are smaller and the stems are shorter, thus they are more easily filled. I use my hose nozzle to fill them. Sometimes the bulbs don’t always seem to empty … maybe they get clogged with dirt. I’ve decided these bulbs are more decorative. I love how they add color to my flower pots but I can’t rely on them to water my plants when I’m gone. Still love them.
