This product will save you so much time and water! Bought first time last summer and my patio flowers stood up to the wind like never before! Follow directions! Don't over do it and work well into the soil at or below root depth.

Yes, these water crystals are awesome for plants. However, we use them to water crickets. Allow me to explain. We have a reptile room in our house, and we purchase 1,000 crickets a week. We provide food and water to the crickets so they are nutritious for the reptiles. The cricket water you purchase in stores has dyes, additives, preservatives, etc. This product just gives the crickets fresh water without the extra.A little bit goes a long way, so this jar will last us a good while. It’s also an easy and cost effective way to keep our critters happy and healthy.

This is the first year I've tried these, and the crystals made such a difference!!! I barely had to water at all! I'm using these every year. Great product!

I mix the water crystals with substrate for hanging plant baskets. They work well in retaining moisture, especially when using a wire basket with coir liner. I like them better than the water beads or diaper method because of reduced mess and aesthetics. Water beads tend to work thier way to the top of the planting medium. A scoop is included. Make sure you tighten the cap well and store in a dry place. The jar holds a generous amount. You don’t need more than a teaspoon for an 8” planter. Easy to use, no odor, and I can tell that the crystal are working because the substrate stays hydrated longer. Useful for indoor potted plants as well.

I search water crystals for reptiles and insects. This is a powdery type substance that swells. And becomes a clump when introduced what to water. Great for plants, but not what I searched up. The listing is Misrepresenting.Other than that, I've had fun using it for plants. I'll keep looking for what I was actually searching. Still haven't found crystals four insects in reptiles.

The crystals do absorb a lot of water. However, they are too fine for my purpose. I would have preferred a courser, larger crystal. Should have bought the Miracle Gro crystals which I have used successfully in the past.

After unfortunately overwatering one of my palms, I’ve been trying to do damage control. Somebody recommended this. It seems to have absorbed a lot of the water. Now the jury is out to see if the plant recovers.Hoping for the best.
