I love these watering globes. They are easy to use, clean, and refill. The crystal clear color looks great with the plants. They are great for everyday use and great for when I travel. Knowing I don't have to worry about my plants gives me peace of mind.

I loved the idea of these because it makes refilling the bulb so much easier. But every time I refill it, within 20 minutes the entire bulb is empty. Even after I've watered the plant (not using the bulb). So they don't hold water. It just drains out into the plant immediately.

These plant self watering globes are just beautiful. They are actually made of glass, and the glass feels fragile. I will be using these for Elephant Ear plants that I bring inside for the winter. I could easily buy 20 more of these for plants outside when I go away for the weekend. They work very well!

Works great if you keep it straight. Helps water plants through out the week.

So I'd tried the traditional watering globes, where it's a long tube with a closed ball on the end. Those are a hassle, since topping them up requires taking them out only once they're empty, or taking them out half-empty and doing your best not to let the rest of the water spill over you and the floor. These take that good idea and improve on it so well: no more removing! To top one off, you just remove the cork, pour more water in, and put the cork back in place. (Every other time I give a plant a thorough soaking, I move the globe to a different spot, so it's not always watering only one spot.) Also unlike the globes, it's *really* easy to see when a plant's sucked down all the water. Instead of a stick that tells you when the water's dry, these let you have the water ready, and the plant can drink it as it needs. Super-awesome if you sometimes forget to do the watering thing.

These work like a charm. I put them in key parts of my garden where freshly transplanted vulnerable plants live, so it won't be the end of the world if I forget to water. The cork on top is a great feature, in comparison to some watering globes that you have to fill laboriously through the stem. It took only seconds to fill each globe. My one disappointment with this product is that the glass isn't as iridescent as I expected. In most lighting, it just looks like clear glass.Using fabric on the tip isn't totally necessary; they'll work fine without it, but it does help keep dirt out of the stem. Also, rubber-banding the fabric isn't necessary either. If you just wrap the fabric around the stem and stick it in the earth, it'll do just as well!
