Great for traveling! I was gone for three weeks, in December, watered my plants heavily then popped one of these in my fig tree and large jade plant indoors. Came home to happy plants.

I filled globe up, and it had same amount of water after 4 days, cone is not dripping.

I purchased these to provide constant root hydration for my railing planter boxes. The clear plastic globe holds a good amount of water and is seated snuggly into the terra cotta plug slowly releasing water into the soil in the container. I'm using them in my railing planters of herbs and flowers and also hanging flower baskets around my yard. They're providing supplemental water for 3 to 5 days even during a current heat wave. I highly recommend them for indoor and outdoor use.

These have a larger sized clear plastic bulb, that fits onto a "clay" pointed spike. They hold a lot of water, so you can leave home for a week or 2 without worrying about your plants. I'm pleased with them.

Not a useful product, two of the globes were broken and is not a good product idea for the intended purposes

Loved the concept of this globe that is easily refillable from the top. Unfortunately, within two weeks, the globe has snapped off of one of them. Sad face. :(
