No good. 1 of 2 ollas received had LARGE crack on the bottom where water was able to GUSH out. It was not damaged in transit. It was made this way. Extremely disappointed.

I know this is for my plants and will use it for when I travel. Because of the size, I can put into the soil and leave without worry of not sufficient water for my plants. I have used the "bottle" type for years, but I don't drink wine, so was always looking for a bottle. This solved a lot of problems. The terracotta is very well made. There is a terracotta cap to prevent evaporation to outside air. Even if I did not use this in my plants, I would keep on the counter. I have placed an order for several more and this will free me from having someone take care of my plants while I am gone. 10/10

Perfect for keeping my house plants alive while I'm out of town. The olla was easy to install. It holds 30 oz of water so I will likely be able to go 3-4 weeks without needing to worry about my plant. Looks great and works perfectly. Would recommend.

This extra large ollas is perfect for keeping my large potted plants hydrated without constant watering. The terracotta material allows for slow, even moisture release, and I’ve noticed my plants looking healthier and more vibrant. The 30 oz capacity lasts a good two weeks. The large size makes plant care much easier, especially when I’m away. Plus, the lid helps prevent evaporation and debris from getting in. A must have for anyone looking for a reliable, low maintenance watering system!

I thought I had ordered the pack of two, and I received one.Regardless of the above, if you are new to ollas this would be a great one to buy. It’s easy to pick up because the neck is much longer than other designs. It arrived perfectly packaged in styrofoam and there were no cracks or chips in either the olla or the top.Depending on the size of your raised bed you’d need a few more of these. If you’re using this in a large pot, you should be good to go with just one of these. If you have already begun using ollas, you know what a tremendous difference they make. Let’s face it, life gets in the way and we all get behind on watering. These will definitely help buy you some time, and all of the ollas that leach water out depends on the circumference of the olla. I assume based on this size, my olla will leach water out about 2-3 inches all around.I’ve been using ollas for the past year because we live in zone 10 which is a humid and tropical climate. I had a difficult time keeping lantanas alive in pots near the front door, and lantanas are a weed! They are a hardy plant which attract pollinators, and they’re relatively easy to grow. So I began with ollas in their pots, and they began to not only stay alive but they began to grow and thrive! So slowly but surely after seeing this, I began adding ollas into my raised beds and pots that I grow vegetables in.I really prefer this design because it is easy to grab and carry around, and the terracotta quality of this brand was impressive because of the thickness of it.This has been the has been the best olla I’ve tried thus far, as I tend to make my own ollas. However if you want a good olla that should last years and years, then I’d suggest this brand.
