Made with a series of built-in brushes and designed for .22 and .223 Caliber and 5.56 mm rifles and pistols, this bore rope barrel cleaning snake combines all cleaning processes into one, effectively cleaning your gun barrel in a single pass.
Suitable for rifles and pistols. The black "pull rope" part is about 42 inches (107cm) long, so it can be used on barrels with a length from muzzle to chamber less than 42 inches.
Quick and Easy: Cleans in 1 quick pass! It can be used dry, or a solvent solution can be applied to the beginning of the rope, then the brushes scrub the barrel, and the cleaning cloth follows to clean up. The remaining length can apply any lubricant you wish - all in a single pass!

How to use a bore rope barrel cleaner:
- Drop brass weighted cord through the bore
- Pull slowly, being careful not to snag on edges or parts
- Repeat as needed until the barrel is clean
- The bore rope can be washed easily by hand, air dry

This Bore Snake is just perfect to clean my revolver. The bore is very small, but this snake fits down it with some Hoppes 9. I think this will keep my gun much cleaner.

It seems to clean the barrel of my rifle okay, but it takes a lot of force to pull it through and I worry that the rope will break or detach and leave something stuck in the barrel. That hasn't happened yet, but I worry about it.

These things are great for cleaning the bore of your barrel. 2-3 passes and it’s cleaned.
