Cut out 21 recess can holes in plaster ceilings. Works great and cuts clean. Start your holes on high speed and slow and steady and it will cut clean.

Used with a makita 18v brushless drill/hammer drill. The bit grabs aggressively and I had to use in low speed because the drill couldn’t generate enough torque. Even in low, the overload will get tripped after about 3-4 revolutions. That said, I only used on 1/2” drywall as well as asphalt shingles and plywood to get a range vent installed. I would buy again at this price but if you have a heavier drill, bring it to the party.

I like that it’s sharp my drill is a little small but if I just let it cut it works well quick and easy peasy
