There's a taste to these I don't recall with the nib they're replacing. It's not strong, on the margins of noticeable. It's not bad, just a lil disconcerting

Not a lot to say about these other than they work well and are cheaper than the OEMs. Would definitely recommend.Things I notice about these are:• The rubber is more rigid than the OEM which makes it take a little more effort to get water flow. I'll be curious to see if this also means they last longer.• You get more valves for the same price as the OEM.• The product is definitely cheaper. You can tell by the flashing from the casting process. This doesn't affect the function of the product in any way.• Despite them being noticeably cheaper, there is no taste or anything weird about them.

I have 2 Osprey hydration packs, and after ~2 years, the bite valves failed. These replacement bite valves fit perfectly, replacing the part that failed. I have been using one for 3 weeks now, and it works great. It was tricky to put in place but there are no leaks. I do not know about the long term durability.
