Wollte eigentlich nur das dezente Blau des mitgelieferten Ventils von meinem schwarzen Trinkrucksack loswerden- überraschendes Plus bei diesem ist dass sich das Mundstück leicht drehen lässt- und auch der Ventilhebel wirkt praktischer bei der Bedienung! Eventuelle Nachteile: es bringt halt einige Gramm mehr auf die Waage und wirkt ein Wenig wuchtiger- kann man aber meiner Meinung nach vernachlässigen..

Bought this to replace the valve on my hydration bladder (not a Camelback) that was a pull On/Off and kind of fiddly. This fit right in the tubing with no trouble. Just measure your line first. Make sure it's 1/4 inch inner diameter and it will fit.I like this valve better because of the flip On/Off is easier to manipulate one handed. The big bite valve is also a plus. Bit more water per pull. Camelbacks valves are cut nicely and open good when bit and my experience not as bad leakage. The flip On/Off helps this as well.I paired this with the 90890 bite valve with cover (my original didn't have a cover and could get covered in everything). This kit has a plastic flip style On/Off and a plastic clip that can allow for easy removal of bite valve for any reason. New Camelback hydro lock valves will just click right in.Very cheap and very good upgrade for me generic bladder.

Works just as expected. I was fitting this into a standard Camelbak hose and it fit perfectly even though the end was a bit rough and worn down. The bite valve works better than other one's I've received from Camelbak ( the first one I got barely had a hole at all) and I have had no problems with is. It also seems that installation of the dust cover would be easy, although I've been able to simply wipe any dirt off. Altogether, the HydoLink Conversion Kit is durable, well made, and exactly what you'd want for your Camelbak.

This is a great replacement mouthpiece for ANY camelbak. It doesn’t necessarily have to be military spec camelbak packs, but it is military spec on accessories. Which I don’t have or use.As a civilian looking for a great replacment mouthpiece for my camelbak I wanted an easy On/Off valve switch, easy to bite/drink mouthpiece, easy to clean, and practical. With that in mind, the valve is easy to switch On/Off, the hydroloc removes the mouthpiece section with little drip, the rubber piece can come off the hydroloc piece to wash off in the “field”, and it was more practical than all other mouthpieces out there.The only thing I wish it had was the magnetic stay, but I won’t hold that against it.

If you have a Big Bite style Camelbak, this is an essential conversion. Since my son has started drinking from our water pouches, leaks and spills were becoming a little too common. This kit allows me to turn the water flow on or off, avoiding disaster.And... let's be honest, there have been a few times that I just squished the tip too much jamming it into my backpack, no toddler involved. Later I'd open up the bag and find my water everywhere but in the pouch. Since installing the kit, that has not happened.When I bought the kit it was also the same price as a replacement silicone mouthpiece, so why not upgrade. It's pretty easy to attach, requiring nothing special.I will note that the first dozen times you use the button, it can be stiff. But after a little use, it has gotten very reasonable for someone with strong hands. My wife still occasionally asks me to help get hers off for cleaning.Last note and important. If you use the provided mouthpiece and have never replaced one of the Big Bites style units, DON'T CUT THE OPENING, just work it back and forth until it opens itself. I didn't read the manual so to speak and took a razor blade to my first one, ruining it. My next one I following instructions and it was fine. Just be patient and do it like it says.Enjoy.

Required as a replacement for one I smashed in a car door. Simple to fit and works perfectly although some tubes may require a little lube or heat to get it in

Works great outta of the box. I did have to slit the bite valve open a little with a straight razor than the a little bit more than the way it came. Minor modification in the big picture. I picked up an old US issue army ACU hydration blatter at a flea market for a couple bucks because the bight valve was lost and they were just trying to get rid of it. They said it was a 1 1/2 liter blatter and they couldn find anything specifically for it to fix it, well thats because it doesnt exist. Well after this inexpensive purchase of valve assembly I pulled the bladder as far out as it would go. Come to find out the bladder was twisted half way down. So with a simple untwist, a through wash and rinse and a couple bucks to just cut the old valve system and put this in a complete semi new military issue grade had ration bladder for less that $10. If it can be saved and repaired, try it before you shell out $$ for something new. A great new addition for a day hike, SAR, camping, or just a simple bike ride.

The nozzle on my hydration pack started leaking, and I was considering purchasing a new hydration pack until I realized I can simply replace the nozzle for fraction of the cost of a hydration pack. Looked at several options and chose this one due to the fact it has a nozzle on/off lever as a backup therefore in case the nozzle tip begins to leak I figured I can simply throw the switch.Installing was a very simple, moisten the tip and insert into the old hose. Took less than 1 minute.The nozzle works PERFECT after about 2 months of riding and have not even had to use the on/off lever.(PROS)* Inexpensive* Easy to Install* Allows a good amount of water to flow (My old nozzle only allowed the water to trickle out which was very annoying, no such issue here)* Backup on/off lever (In case the nozzle tip were ever to fail and begin leaking water just throw the switch)(CONS)* NONEWould definitely recommend either if your nozzle is failing and leaking or you simply want a nozzle which allows more water through)
