Love it. The tiny strainer collects little pieces of food & works so well. I love that you can plug the sink just by pushing down the center. The suction is great, it’s easy to clean, and fits perfectly in the sink. I’ll definitely buy again!

I love this kitchen sink, drain! It’s the only one that I found that lets the water go down and traps the food particles but yet you can push down on it in the water. Will stay if you want. It works wonderfully and I love it!

We recently moved to a house with a septic system and having been spoiled with a garbage disposal for decades had to deal with avoiding getting food scraps into the drain. We'd tried a few cheap strainer options but they failed. Both my spouse and I saw this independently and ordered it; based on some reviews indicating failure we decided to keep the second one as a spare because honestly it's a good value even if it doesn't last. We're a few weeks in and the first one's doing fine. The "food catching" part works fine, as long as we're careful not to put too much food scraps in the sink to begin with. There are a few issues to work around that are manageable, but bring this down a few stars from perfect.1. It wasn't obvious when we first got it that the lower level silicone ring was necessary to push down to really seal it in the sink. It wasn't holding a good seal around the rim until we figured that out while cleaning it.2. The bigger silicone ring around the top slips off easily when trying to clean it and takes a bit of holding your mouth right to put it back the right way.3. It doesn't sit flush, creating a small ridge that means a small puddle of water remains around the ring after draining... fine for clean water but any soap suds or anything else that would leave a stain after evaporating makes the sink look ugly. Trying to rinse those last few grains of rice or other scraps into it feels like putt-putt golf when the hole is on top of a little hill and the ball keeps turning away.4. If you get too much food in your sink, you reach the point where the water stops draining (just like it would with a clogged drain). That's obviously a problem with any strainer, but this seems to fill up with even a much smaller amount. We really have to be conscientious about scraping as much as we can into the compost before getting dishes in the sink.5. The press down to seal the sink drain as shown in many video reviews works fine to seal, and pops right back up in cold water, but if you're running hot water, the inner plastic piece expands enough where it doesn't pop back up easily. Not a huge problem for us as we rarely use this, but if you're hoping to leave the strainer in and keep the pop-down-pop-up drain stopper, be prepared for a less-than-perfect execution.Overall happy with the purchase and think it's a good value, but depending on your requirements you might want to consider these design flaws.

**Updated to add another star for the customer service alone. I was not happy with the unit we had and thought maybe I just ruined it by cleaning it. However, I really don't know what happened to it that it became so useless but the seller reached out immediately after my review was posted and made the situation right by replacing the item with a new model that works so much better in our sink. I'm not sure if this model will work for you but if it does not, the customer support is there to make it right. You can't go wrong with that level of attention and backing of a product. Would definitely recommend knowing you can reach out for help if the item doesn't satisfy your needs.I hate those drainers that typically come with kitchen sinks. They don't sit right so they miss half the food that goes in the sink and I usually feel like they're more in the way than they are helpful. I used the mesh strainers for years but we recently bought our first house and the sink drain spot is so shallow, I can no longer use that style without mangling it all up. Not cute.I went on the hunt and discovered this little gadget. I made sure of the measurement of the sink drain opening and everything seemed like it was a go so I ordered it. I got it and it seemed like a sturdy piece so I went and put it in the sink and realized quickly that while the width was fine, the depth was fine, the little protruding piece that would sit in the middle, you know that slot in the sink drain that the old style fits into, well this doesn't fit into mine. It's like putting a round peg in a square hole...quite literally actually. So, to that end, it's not the right one for my sink. Now I figured I'd still see how it worked because it still sat inside the drain and the silicone flowed over the edge and seemed like it would still work. After a couple of weeks I thought this is going to be pretty great. It catches the food really well because the silicone does it's job in blocking the edges of the drain so everything goes where it's supposed to. If you are a person that fills their sink with water, that feature works really well and easily. Even with the mismatch in shapes at the center, the strainer still closes the flow of water and the sink fills up and holds water. My reduction in stars came from my house maintenance of my kitchen sink. I like to clean the sink and items in the sink because, of course, they get dirty. I took the strainer out and was wiping it off with a sponge or rag, I don't recall now, but when I was done, the larger silicone ring no longer attaches to the strainer like it seemed to have done before. I really wasn't aggressive with wiping it down but now, the ring just moves around all the time and it's starting to annoy me. I'm trying to decide if I should just get a new one and go from there or if I should just like rubber cement the thing to the sink. I don't know if it stretched out when I was cleaning it or what happened but it happened. The good thing is, the strainer still works as before but I have to constantly push the thing down to center the silicone ring again because it shifts so much. So, I'm on the recommendation fence with this one. I do like it better than what the sinks originally come with so that's a plus. The overall function of the thing is great. I mean, definitely works well. I wish I could have known the mismatch issue before I ordered it but now I know what to try to look for next time. I also wish I could have cleaned it without messing it up so early on in our relationship. I guess proceed with some caution but still probably worth a try if you hate the O.G. strainers like I do.

Like the functionality of it. Wished that the suction of the plug adhering to the sink drain hole was better. Sometimes lost suction from the outer ring and allowed water to drain before I wanted it to. Catches food, easy inner pull out for quick dumping of collection without allowing potential debris to fall inside drain.
