Product is accurate as decribed. There was an issue with the shipping and I think it is not the seller's fault. The carrier marked it as delivered but it is not (there was also a blizzard at the delivery date). I have contacted the seller and he responded very quickly and professionally. He solved everything. I am extremely satisfied with the product.

I like these much better than the thing that came with the sink. Stainless steel maintains a clean look and it functions well as a drain basket.

Five stars because other brands trap hair, but the water drainage is so slow. This one makes the water drain drain quickly. It’s perfect.

For the last year I couldn't understand why my drain suddenly started smelling like sulphur on and off. I thought that because I had a private well for the first time, meaning no chlorinated water, that maybe there was mold accumulating in the pipes. I would pour diluted vinegar down the drain, even Clorox, and that would help for a little while, but then the smell would come right back.Eventually, I noticed the water was taking longer and longer to drain. I have long hair, and I know I've clogged a drain once before, so I knew there was a clog somewhere. Well, there was. The P-trap was completely clogged with my long hair. The clog was as thick as the trap!I bought these and probably made installation harder than it had to be. I wasn't sure what to do with the pull rod up top and how to position the lever with that little white ball under the sink. Should I remove the pull rod completely? Won't that look stupid? No. I just left it in, in the down position, reconnected the lever with that little ball and made some adjustments. Worked perfectly.I never measured my drain, so I don't know if that's why this doesn't completely cover the drain ring, but it definitely is doing the job and catching hair. No more having to wipe my hair out of the sink, which wasn't doing the job anyway, evidently.These are very sturdy, and I think they will last a lifetime. They, also, are very easy to clean. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I like that it keeps hair and other items from going down the drain. Water flows through it perfectly! My finger doesn't fit to clean it out, so I either tap it on a paper towel and/or use a Q-tip. Good purchase!

We just installed a new sink in our mudroom and it only has a drain plug, so we needed something to make sure the larger bits don't go down the drain and clog it up. This fit our new sink perfectly. It lays flat on the bottom of the sink. It looks like it was always meant to be there. The quality is good and it seems to do it's job. Easy to pop it out and dump the bits in the garbage can.

My sink has a pop-up plug that sits a little too low, so the water flow is pretty restricted. I've been looking for a strainer to replace it with, but this one is unfortunately not it.The build quality is pretty good, there's no bits of metal sticking out anywhere and the rim is smooth. The measurements are accurate, so I knew it would be too small to sit snugly in my standard sink (1.5" hole), but I was willing to give this a shot since I liked the design a lot. Unfortunately, this restricts the water flow even more! The holes are too small maybe, or the shape? I'm not sure about the reason, but for this price ($16 for two), it's just not worth it.If your sink has a 1" opening and not a heavy water flow, this is a very well-made option that's probably decently easy to clean (no overlapping bits like some of the net strainers). However, for a standard home bathroom sink, it doesn't work.
