Product works flawlessly. The paint around the edges will fade off over time, but the job I bought them for a save me hundreds of dollars having to work with a plumber. Haters are going to hate. If you want something better spend more money. If you're looking for something affordable, here you go. I just bought more.

We’ve had these for three months to use in our kitchen sink they’re on the basin that we use the least and we went through both of them with the black paint flaking off in large chunks within about a month to month and a half of use. Now both of them look like the image above and have had very light wear and tear. They look nice at the start and function well but last only about a month or two before the black finished deteriorated. I wouldn’t recommend these due to the very poor quality of the finish. Maybe the regular stainless steel would be fine…

These drain strainers initially looked great but they eventually peeled. The first one started chipping. I thought I might have been a little rough with it tapping against a plastic trash bin to clean. The second strainer I was extremely careful not to tap. I used a napkin to clean out extra food bits. Doing it this way made it last for 6 months but I'm still disappoint it didn't last longer. Although these look great, the durabilty is subpar. I'll be touching them up with a flat Krylon paint since it seems wasteful to just dispose of them.

The strainer is functionally perfect, but the black surface peels off under running water. The 2nd one in the dual sink has not peeled since it doesn't have water hitting it. Better to buy the stainless steel if appearance matter since the black surface isn't stable.

Bought these because they looked sturdy and with a dark brown sink, was hoping it would "disappear" and not be obvious like previous silver strainer was. After only two weeks, and only dumping it into garbage and using soft sponge to clean, I noticed the black rim was showing small pieces of silver. Turns out it's the black finish that is coming off!!! They started with the silver base and must have used a paint to turn it black that was not made to be used in water. Hello.......this is a SINK!!!!! Fortunately it was cheap, and there are two, so now I have to go to the hardware store and see about getting spray paint that will hold up on metal that gets wet!!! Not sure if I have to remove the current paint that obviously is not working, or can spray over the existing paint on one not used. Will not order from these people ever again. Even though cheap, don't waste your time or money here!!!!

I really liked the heaviness of these when I got them. They seemed like they were made well. I got the black ones. They were so pretty in the bottom of my sink, but within two days the black paint started chipping off. It's been a few months now and only the basket part is still black but I still like them. They work really well. I wish the paint hadn't chipped all off but oh well
