For years I have struggled with my kitchen sink. I have no garbage disposal (septic tank can be finicky) yet my family behaves as if I do. Scrape plates into trash? Silly woman, they scrape their plates in the sink. I have threatened to put the gunk I pull out of the stained on their pillows, but realized that would be more of a mess for me to clean up. So for years I literally had a large colander I kept in the sink to try and catch the debris. Worked ok, but was kinda nasty and I worried someone might actually use that colander to drain pasta… ew. But this set works amazingly well. Especially when you NEST them together. If the top one starts to get sluggish - take it out and the bottom one takes over. They will always drain out, but if there is say, rice being strained out it might slow down. I’ve finally got the big colander out of my sink, I never have clogs anymore and best of all no one is living under the threat of sink-clog-debris on their pillows anymore.

I have a standard sink and drain configuration, these sink drainers are GREAT! I have had a couple of other types before these - these are the best. Water and debris drain into strainer easily. A tap on the edge of the waste can and it is emptied. Highly recommend.

Love this! I’ve tried many other models but so far this one with the hard mesh is the best and super easy to clean.

This is the best random gift ever. I’ve given so many of these away to friends who have the awful soft mesh in their sink that traps all the crap. These are easy to clean, stay clean, are stainless steel and I’ve had mine since 2020 and still perfect. Everyone I randomly bring these to their house, loves it and ask me for the link so they can get some for others. Those around the friends I give to, want the link to buy for self. So much fun!

This is exactly what I was looking for! I had a thin, cheap drain strainer where particles would get under the edge and clog up the sink. Then it started to rust! I couldn’t find a replacement so I turned to Amazon (which I usually end up doing). I saw this strainer and thought it looked like a good one. It’s even better than I expected! It’s very sturdy and stays in place so stuff doesn’t get under the edge. It’s very easy to clean and has good sized holes so water doesn’t build up in the sink when it’s getting full. I love that it comes in a 2 pack, also so I have one for my “dish drainer” sink, as well.

These are very effective—great design, aesthetically pleasing, even. I’ve been using mine for over a year and it’s still in perfect condition—no rust. Previously I'd ordered a mesh strainer that was terrible, and before that, one of those universal metal strainers that catches almost nothing and inadvertently closes off the drain, allowing the sink to partially fill with water. By contrast, this product never gets in the way of drainage. It is PERFECT at catching small particles of food, preventing them from clogging the drain or pipes. The one teensy downside is that, because the surface is slick and flat, small flat wet bits of food (like tea leaves) easily adhere to the strainer. They are not easily knocked off against the side of the garbage can—which is how I clean this thing in the morning. A minor annoyance that does not in the slightest prevent these from being effective. Moreover, it actually IS very easy to clean when I clean the rest of my sink with scouring powder and a brush. I wish I were as happy with all my purchases as I have been with this one. I am now here to buy a couple more for a different house.

Replaced a plastic one with larger holes (about 1/8") that let stuff through. Also the plastic collected mold and the holes were inconvenient to clean. This one has small holes in a flat bottom. Doesn't let stuff through and is easier to clean because of the flat bottom and stainless steel. Cons: It can restrict the water drainage a bit because very small bits do not go through (which is good) and little holes get blocked. But it's easy to clean. Reason for knocking off one star (really half a star) is that it can slide a bit.

Does exactly what I want it to do - it catches all the bits after you finish washing up, and I've not had to unblock the sink since. Be careful though - the rim of the strainer cut my finger when I was emptying into the rubbish bin.

These strainers were EXACTLY what I was looking for! I ordered these to replace the set that I had. The old ones were impossible to get completely clean without taking them apart because they were constructed of multiple pieces and even then, they still had crevices that were difficult to get to. The strainers are one solid piece. Simpler is much better in this case. They are easy to clean either by hand or dishwasher and have held up perfectly after many runs through the dishwasher since July. They've not become warped, bent, scratched or discolored and still look brand new. They have not scratched up my sinks. The holes are the perfect size and allow tiny things such as dirt or soil to pass through as to not clog themselves with what is fine and safe to just wash away down the drain while catching what I really need them to. I keep them in at all times. I don't like anything going down the drain that I'd have to use the disposal for because it gets clogged up too easily. I've not had one clog since I received these strainers and that really is most important to me. They fit perfectly.... be sure to measure. The measurements given are accurate. Easy to remove- even when full and beneath the pressure of water filling up in the sink and stay in place unless they are being removed, so no messy surprises. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, especially for the price. I 100% recommend these and would absolutely purchase again. They arrived quickly and on time also! Very pleased!
