The drain cover I had before was flimsy and just plain bad. These replacements that I ordered are perfect. They have the perfect size mesh, and the frame is sturdy and strong.

This shiny stainless steel sink strainer looks nice in my sink. Most importantly, it catches all the food debris....the large wide rim is the secret. I'll never regret this purchase.

I make a lot of protein smoothies and there’s usually oatmeal and frozen fruit mixed in. This thing catches alllll of the little pieces to the point where the sink will fill up with water because nothing passes through. This is a good thing for me because I know that those components can easily clog up a pipe so I’m happy to know it’s catching everything for me! All I do is swirl the bits around to let the water drain and then dump it in the trash and reset it! The only downside is both of the drain covers I ordered have a wire sticking out so I have to be really careful when I’m cleaning it out to avoid scratching myself. I can probably cut it, but it’s something to watch out for. Overall though I’m happy that these sit flush with my sink so it’s a seamless addition!
