I used this bit to drill through a 10 inch concrete wall so I could install a 1/2 inch PVC drain pipe for a mini split. It worked perfectly without any issues. Although I only needed it for this one hole, the bit didn't seem to sustain much wear at all, so I would imagine it would last through many holes so long as it's used properly with water.I like that this bit has a 1-1/4-7 inch arbor that can attach directly to a core drill without an adapter. Despite the large arbor size, however, the hole in the back of the bit is very small, so you'll need to find something very narrow and strong that you can use to knock out the pieces of cored concrete from inside the bit. I normally use a piece of rebar but it won't fit through this bit, so I had to rummage through my garage to find a long thin piece of scrap metal. Also, not being an expert at core drilling, I find it really hard if not impossible to start a hole without a guide, so I highly recommend making one with a drilled piece of wood fastened over where you want your hole.

The LCubro 1.06" Wet Core Drill Bit for Cured Concrete with Rebar is a great boring tool for the price. It's cost is a fraction of that of better-known brands.Although the drill is designed for core drilling machines, I was able to use it with my Hole Hawg drill motor along with a slow-flowing hose to flood the process. Because the drive threads are quite deeply recessed in the bit, It was necessary for me to cut the shoulder of the bit to allow my 1-1/4"-7 adapter to fully engage the bit's threads.I can't really say how this bit would hold up under substantial use, but for my purposes it is more than adequate and performs well.

I've got a 114 year old house with thick brick walls in the basement. This bit was perfect for boring through 14 inches of brick. I wanted to be sure certain that the bit would last for several holes so I flooded the with water while drilling. The old bricks seem soft compared to modern concrete and this drill bit easily bored through.Good bit, good price, good job!

I used this to bore a hole through stone and concrete for a gate-hinge rod.
