Works as well as much more expensive core bits. The core is easy to remove. The length makes it easier to drill a vertical hole.

Cut two exhaust ducts into a slump block building. Worked well. I first cut a 4" hole into a 5 gallon plastic lid. Then screwed it into two small holes in the grout. used the lid to hold the hole saw in place until the hole was started. The duct boot cover plate covered the holes.Would buy it again.

Trying to drill a hole into my foundation to run some wires for a new deck. Got less than six inches before it broke.

I bought this for a 4" hole through brick in the rear of my house. I took about 15 minutes to casually go through the brick. I started with a little cut at the top of my planned hole and was able to slowly move it into position to go all the way through the brick. I used a Bosch hammer drill in the DRILL mode, dry for most of it but I did stop and cool off the bit once with water, the diamonds show no signs of damage and it appears the bit is ready for another job. Very happy with the results, a clean 4" hole.
