I'm the guy that shouted to the rafters on this set of core drills. After re-thinking how I was using the bits(hand held drill motor) I properly put one of the bits in a drill press and used it to bore a 3/8" hole througha ceramic vase. It worked perfectly. I feel so bad about dissing this product. I need to be ADMONISHED"...

I needed to cut a hole through the exterior stucco/wire on my home. This thing cut through it like it was nothing.....NOTHING. For the price I was really surprised how well it worked. Buy this one if you need to cut through masonry--you won't be disappointed!

I needed a but that would drill into raw slate/granite/quartz, whatever raw stones I use with my copper art. Needed to secure 14 Gauge copper wire in stone. 3mm bit best fit.Pleasantly surprised at how well they worked. 1 but on 3 stones (slate) and might be a bit of life still in it.Unfortunately, product lists that 15 bits will be shipped and package only held ten (10).Having a time trying to find the part where I can contact vendor and let them know. I'll keep looking. (I am very satisfied with the price even if they don't send 5 more bits. It's the principle.🙂Sue Gibb

it's good these come in a 15 pack. I used 12 of them drilling several holes in marble and tile. The base material is soft/cheap, so it doesn't hold up. It overheats easily. But, they are inexpensive enough that it got the job done and I'm satisfied. NOT a professional's tool, but if you have a job or two to get done - these should work.

I had no trouble cutting through bathroom tile so I could install a secure anchor for the grab bars. I initially used a small drill to drill a path around the cutout so that the larger drill bit could catch where I wanted to drill without slipping. Without the smaller holes to catch the edge of the larger drill it will keep slipping off the tile.

Funcionan bien. Hay que utilizarlas con mucha lubricación. Aun así practicamente son para una o dos ocaciones maximo.

Had to drill 5 holes in a glass sheet. Actually did it in less than likely 5 minutes of total drilling time.I did us blue tape to make little dams for water and added some Diamond Coolant I use for stain glass grinder too.Did get some break on an slight cracking on first whole, pushing to hard. All other fine.As stated in one of the others start on edge, using variable speed drill, then speed up an start laying down and it will go to full circle. Not sure if full speed is needed or best.I had only one shot, but if you can do some tests first would advise.I was able to repair chipped and minor cracks with some two part epoxy and even did a little water type effect. It is a special project for an Aquarium.

I purchased this to drill six 3 inch wide by 1 inch deep holes in the concrete steps going to my SPA (I then chiseled out the centers). The concrete was hard as can be but this hole saw cut all six with no problem - just take it slow and don't overheat the bit and you will be fine. More amazing was the price - 10 bucks delivered to your door in just a couple of days! Other option is to rent something for $50 to $100 but this does the job.
