I used this to expand holes in my sink to add new fixtures. It works fine as long as you take your time. Of course, there is a lot of dust but it can be used dry so it doesn’t get gunked up.

Got this for stone carving purposes, not enlarging holes. It was effective at sanding down soft stone. The metal is fairly thick, and at no point during my testing did the bit get excessively hot. It remained warm to the touch throughout drilling and sanding tests. No complaints, though I do wish the shank was a little thinner (for my purposes, not for the intended purpose).
