I just installed this stainless steel rod holder in my bass boat and couldn't be happier. It is really made of stainless steel with rolled edges so if you slip or stumble in the boat and your hand lands on this rod holder, it's very unlikely to cut you - unlike the cheaper plastic or aluminum ones. At less than 23 bucks, this rod holder is very reasonably priced and the build quality is excellent. I highly recommend the YaeMarine Fishing Rod Holder 316 Stainless Steel Fishing Rod Rack.

I was able to add these to my pontoon with some self tapping stainless screws and some nylon spacers to protect the boat finish. Seem strong enough for my Bass and Crappie rods. May not be ideal for really large Catfish or Stripper Rods depending on your setup. Go Fish and Good Luck!

As described. Shiny stainless steel. Fairly sturdy. I wouldn't consider it appropriate for a boat because it is so light.

I really love the quality of these even though not US product. While getting ready to install we realized the bottom has a bar across all 3. This will not allow for a safe depth of rod while driving the boat OR using them to fish so we are returning for the hard plastic ones that are open ended. This is not what we wanted
