Appears to be a soy, well built product. I just got them and so I haven’t used them but I suspect that I will be satisfied.

Great product at a good price. The top is a lesser grade of stainless steel than the tube but still rust proof. Very well made. Better quality than others I have bought.

I needed a very solid rod holder able to hold my 9/0 Senators with matching rods. Plastic just not cutting it, had to be steel, stainless steel. It had to be affodable too since I'm a disabled, and on a fixed income. I was really surprised how heavy and solid these things were , not stamped sheet metal but castings, and heavy gauge stainless pipe. I read other's comments about there'e not holding up, and forming surface rust. My boat is under cover, and I always wash it down with fresh water then mist with silicone spray. Still looks good as new a month after purchase. I'm happy, and would recommend this product without hesitation.

Purchased these 30 degree SS rod holders. 6 months later they still look great and work as should.Bought at same time the 0 degree rod holders. Within weeks they discolored and show 'rust'. Both sets on same boat, within a few feet of each other. Disappointed in 0 degree quality.

Pretty solid and the finish is as good as $100 ones for sure. Wish they would have come with rubber gaskets. Definitely worth the price!

Excellent quality and does appear to be 316 stainless, just as good or better than any other name brand rod holder I considered, essentially got two for the price of one of the name brands, I installed them easily and they are strong and look and work great!
