I didn't think it was possible to find a worse splinter strip than the one that came on my power tech tracks originally. I was wrong. Terrible adhesion. It comes with a small bottle of "adhesion accelerant" that is barely enough to cover twelve inches of track let alone both sides of two 55" tracks.

These didn’t last long at all and they end up falling off the tracks the problems I had with this splinter gaurd I do not have with the makira replacements

Even if you thoroughly prep your surface, it still was peeling off at certain spots. It gets the job though

After cleaning the surface on the track even a light sanding the adhesive stuck . The rubber would not stick to adhesives

A couple things have left me disappointed here. Just so happen to be the two things that make up the usefulness of this product.1. What sense does it make to have a roll that is 5” short of completing both sides of a 105” track saw guide? You use one side, you don’t have enough to hold onto for a replacement when needed so quite literally you waste 100 inches. Senseless.2. I removed my old strips from my guide, cleaned the residue left behind, and replaced with this new roll only to find it doesn’t stick. Perhaps a bad batch of the glue was added, not sure. But it’s worthless to me. $20 wasted here.0/10 wouldn’t buy again.

The double sided tape strip supplied is garbage. It will not stay stuck to the aluminum track. The rubber falls off and is garbage at that point.

With all the glues available today there's no excuse to have something stick as poorly as this does. They're selling you a 1 inch strip of rubber for like 40 bucks they could at least use a proper glue. You could probably just use contact cement and re glue the original piece on a couple times before actually needing to replace it.
