My husband and I eat dinner on the couch watching TV more often than not. We jokingly refer to these bowls as our "troughs." the curved sides prevent food from spilling, and we like that they are made of sustainable bamboo. They wash well in the dishwasher too. Delighted to have them.

I love these bowls. We had them when I was growing up at home. They can be used for almost anything. They arrived on time and in good condition.

Three out of the four bowls were ok, the 4th bowl had a piece that was rough and not glossed and smooth/protected on the outer part of the bowl. I didn't realize until later, but the inside on that same part had a slit, and I noticed a staple was glued like it was accidentally splashed there (where would a staple go on these bowls anyway?)... Well, good thing these weren't expensive and that I just really needed 2 bowls, so anything after that was an added bonus.

I'm not really sure what else you would use these for other than maybe potted plants or pet food I guess you could use it for salad but that'd be either a really small salad bowl for a bunch of guests or a really large bowl for one person even if it's filled with salad so I use the four for feeding my cats.

These are without a doubt, the best salad bowls on the planet. The perfect diameter and height. This is my second set and I searched them out. When you buy them you'll remember this review. They look great too. They're wooden but extremely easy to clean. Get them and don't look back.
